Dad Comes Home

When Dad comes home it’s Holiday, just any time of year.
My Daddy makes me glad to see him when he’s here.
I think my Mom gets jealous, because I make a fuss,
But heck, I’ve got her all the time, and Dad comes home to Us!!

I greet him at the doorway. I like to get a hug.
I’d run to get there quicker but I stumble on the rug.
But Daddy always catches me, he watches me real good,
And I’d go off with him to work, at least, I wish I could.

But I must stay with Mommy, we need to practice smile,
So that we will be ready when he comes back after while.
It is a game like peek-a-boo. We play it every day.
We have to do it all the time. He’s not so good at play.

I was wondering if I would run into her again. Of course I could always ask the girl who does my hair who she is, etc.etc. I believe just smelling them made me gain weight~~LOL~~It was way past lunch that day and being a bit hungry makes everything much better!

Bloopers in the Church Bulletin

I am new on this particular thread...been around FR for 8 years, but new here. Doing a catch up today. After church we just came home and have been kicking back and relaxing!
Using this time to " get aquainted with whose here"... so many are here that I know! yeah!
I just read these bloopers to my hubby and have been laughing so hard, tears wouldn't stop from the laughter. Truly a " merry heart doeth good like medicine"!! Thanks for the laugh LadyJag~!

Thanks Oesy, for the good information about Dave Barry! Its nice to know he is still kicking around! According to your information he has done many more things than I realized!

I didn’t read this in your information but seems I remember a 30 min. t.v. show that was broadcast on the educational channel (P.B.S.). It was once a week and very funny and entertaining. I hope I am not mixing him up with someone else. I believe I am correct on it but it was a very good little show! A friend of mine let me know about it. My friend is no longer with us so I can get no information there!
