The Democratic National Committee's Rules and Bylaws Committee meet today to, perhaps, restore half of the delegation to Florida and Michigan giving them access to the national convention in Denver.
An Indiana boy won the National Spelling Bee title when he spelled guerdon.
An Indonesian businessman plans to drop 100 million rupiah from an airplane to promote his new book. Authorities may not allow it because of massive crowds.

Good Lord!!
Well, I am impressed with the choir for standing up to him!
Freepmail in a minute. Watch for it
Good morning.
How convenient! /s
A sore will never heal if picked at all the time. Sheesh! I wish they would leave things alone!
I’m heading out to the garden now. If the knats aren’t too bad, I’m going to try to paint for several hours today.
I hope you can do just that. I know you’ve been wanting to get it done so you can plant. See you later.
A quick check in post as we are getting ready to move on down the road a little further today.
Daughter has some interviews lined up for Mon, Tues. She’s staying some extra days here to allow for them. She was exhausted after yesterday but more encouraged.
It seems that at least some of the schools (many?) don’t require a “Heck, yes” or a “Heck, no” from their current teachers as to their plans to stay on for the next school year until mid-June. So, it sounds as if more spots could open up after that point.
I heard that the donks claimed yesterday that it was the REPUBLICANS fault that FL and MI held their primaries so early. Typical, LOLOL!!
The Mary has landed.
OH YEAH!!! I will bet you have jet lag big time! Get some rest and.....WELCOME HOME MARY!!!!
How nice that another bad guy bit the dust.
And it just keeps getting better and better with BO, doesn’t it? I could be very wrong, but I think McCain is a shoo-in.
Morning all
>>Fears grow that Obama can’t win
It should read “Fears grow that Obama WILL win”
I don’t know if we can survive it.
The “perfect storm” of Dems in the House, the Senate, and POTUS, plus higher taxes, and global warming sky-high energy costs.
Perhaps we should get as far away as possible.
Not me..even though that would be my nature. Nope, I want to be a thorn in his/their finger/s, a burr in his/their pants, a fly on his/their food. In other words, I will annoy them constantly. Plus, I will annoy the spineless pubs!
What a wonderfully refreshing welcome. Thank you, both of you. Yes, I have jet-lag big time. It will take me about a week to recover.
A little story, while I was waiting for my ride at the curb in ATL a beautiful white limoscene pulled up. I knew my hero had come through for me and there would be the promised basket of peaches and bouquet of yellow roses waiting. So, I hopped in.
Can you imagine my surprise when the expected honorariums were not forthcoming?
Can you imagine Ted Turner’s surprise when I sat next to him?
Good morning.
Welcome Back!!
I will be interested in hearing about your trip home,,, and hope it was a boring, uneventful journey.
LOL.
lysie, I should have written "church"
Well, things are straightened, more or less here...off to check on my mother.
Now THIS is a true story (as opposed to the other which was stretched along with the white car): last night as we were waiting to board our final plane, a man struck up a conversation with me. We got onto the subject somehow of the current state of the nation. He and his wife are also Reagan conservatives and claimed to agree with me in all our beliefs.
I was very surprised. This was in the bluest part of Los Angelos and was just a couple at random.
Perhaps we’re not as bad off as we may think.
It was boring and uneventful. We really enjoyed our travel with China Air. The service was great and the food was fantastic. There was plenty of leg room and we were able to sleep.
I am vibrating. I’ll probably vibrate all week.
We are off to my mil’s house to do “stuff”. BBL Have a great day everyone.
