Please take some time ..today.. to remember. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your school and surroundings Jem. Beautiful area.
I'd take a picture, but I don't want to frighten them or intimidate the mom and dad.
Don't you just love the new birth of spring?
Yes. It’s never a dull moment in our backyard.
But, we're not on the ground yet. Our group has a saying that "God is never late concerning His promises, but very rarely early!" I have found that to be in the most part true. Has something to do with stretching our faith, I think.
I'm in transit, sitting in the lobby of the Transit Hotel in the Jakarta Airport. I'll attend to vehicle procurement when I get stateside.
FWIW, yesterday's flight in coach just had my ruptured disk screaming. The pitch gets shallower and I feel bad about leaning my seat back. The seats are hard, too so there is no give at all. Yuck! I took a few pain pills along the way. We may have to upgrade just to keep me out of the hospital.
Y'all may get a smile out of this little travel vignet. I always check my flights to make sure the life preserver is stored below the seat. Most of my travel miles involve being over the oceans so this is a normal procedure. A couple of years ago, however, I was traveling from Detroit to Atlanta. But when I reached under my seat to check for the life preserver, it wasn't there! I was horrified and a bit scared. What would happen if we had to ditch? Could I be positive I was concious enough to swim? Where was that life jacket?
I was reaching for the stewardess call button when I realized it. We weren't traveling over an ocean. Tee hee!
?I do that sometimes when I don't take my pocketbook. At times I don't feel like lugging the thing. All at once I realize I don't have it and YIKES, I panic!
Creatures of habit , we are.
Like, totally.
(You see how batty travel makes me?)
Fer sure. LOL
I’m signing off now. My time on the web is running out. I don’t think I’ll have a chance to sign in again until Sunday morning after I’ve landed.
Have a great trip and take care.
Who got to McClellen? His mother, she’s madder’n a wet hen because the repubs wouldn’t support her when she ran as an independent, against gov Perrry. I’ve learned, “she gets even”. It’s in the family.
I got the first planting of Italian beans in today. Yesterday we planted 24 tomatoes plants. Tomorrow will be cukes, watermelon, cantelope, onion, and purple beans day. We need rain, so I hope it does overnight , but not tomorrow afternoon.
Oh my.. back problems & tourist class flying dont mix! praying for your relief dear friend. You have so much on your plate when you return.
I just splurged a month ago for MY FIRST personal purchase FOR ME in 8 years..
An Inversion platform apparatus. Is is to stretch the spine/traction.
I also have herniated discs (plus stenosis & advanced arthritis). After about 4 weeks of regular use I do see vast improvement. Recommend you try one out. Most of the sporting places that carrry them will let you come many times to see if you get help. They fit you & help you through initial useage. Mine is from Play it Again Sports (a national franchise..but not sure if in your area)
bev, I think America is strong among the silent majority. We hear only the blabber mouths of the screaming media and of course they have nothing good to say about our country. I often wonder what they would say about us if their salaries weren’t so high???????
bev, your Krissy has our prayers. You’re a great auntie seeing as how she came to you first.
I have often thought about a traction type device to stretch out the backbone. I think it would help.
I’m in the Taipei airport now. Next plane takes off in about two hours. If the Lord blesses and protects the journey, the next terra firma I touch will be in the good ole U.S. of A.
FWIW, I sat next to a very nice gentlemen across the aisle from me on my recent journey’s leg.
Yep, ‘one one eye’ here, trudging alone, hoping I am hitting the right keys, hoping when all this blurness gets gone I will be normal in my sight once again.
I am thinkging ole Bill,II is gonna have to take a vacation, 40 more eggs yesterday, running out of cartons and the neighbors hide when they see me coming with a egg caton.
I am hoping soon I will be back running on all 72, tired of this sickness but thankful for it at the same time.
All have a good day, be sweet and happy.
Toby
