Oh my.. back problems & tourist class flying dont mix! praying for your relief dear friend. You have so much on your plate when you return.

I just splurged a month ago for MY FIRST personal purchase FOR ME in 8 years..

An Inversion platform apparatus. Is is to stretch the spine/traction.
I also have herniated discs (plus stenosis & advanced arthritis). After about 4 weeks of regular use I do see vast improvement. Recommend you try one out. Most of the sporting places that carrry them will let you come many times to see if you get help. They fit you & help you through initial useage. Mine is from Play it Again Sports (a national franchise..but not sure if in your area)

I have often thought about a traction type device to stretch out the backbone. I think it would help.

I’m in the Taipei airport now. Next plane takes off in about two hours. If the Lord blesses and protects the journey, the next terra firma I touch will be in the good ole U.S. of A.

FWIW, I sat next to a very nice gentlemen across the aisle from me on my recent journey’s leg.
