"It is wonderful to be back in Oregon," Obama said. "Over the last 15 months, weve traveled to every corner of the United States. Ive now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it."

Maybe Obama DIDN'T "misspeak" after all....
So the Harvard Law Review gig was affirmative action?

An excerpt:
“It’s obviously the highest-profile rehearsal dinner we’ve ever done!” Mr. Hermann said with a laugh. He and his wife served more than 100 guests Friday night at the Old Salado Springs Celebration Center, where Secret Service agents omnipresent in Crawford this weekend were “sweeping everyone down with metal detectors” beforehand.
The groom, Mrs. Hermann said, gave the funniest toasts, telling the president “he couldn’t wait to be the son he’d never had. He told funny stories about dating the president’s daughter.” She declined to say, however, what those were. “Everyone,” she says, “was respectful of the fact that this is a very private event.”
And so it was, with the White House releasing only a few pre-wedding details on Saturday. The bride wore a dress designed by Oscar de la Renta, earrings by Anthony Camargo and Nak Armstrong and picked designer Lela Rose to outfit her “House Party” 14 women and twin sister Barbara, her maid of honor.
Before more than 200 guests, confined to family and close friends, the couple exchanged vows in front of a Texas limestone cross, one the president himself requested. He plans to keep it at the ranch as a permanent monument.

Thank you sooo much Meek. I had totally forgotten about the wedding today, can you believe it?
I’ll enjoy looking at the links you provided.
Hey at least he might know what a flag lapel pin is, what E Pluribus Unum means and can contrast the stars to a leopard’s spots not a tiger’s.
And that was the “brilliant genius” who went against the “dumb idiot” Bush before making his remarkable career as a “Scientist” arguing on the “Global Warming theory”. Considering that the same guy got Ds in Science, and this is in college(I have better grades in Science than Al Gore and I am not particulary good on the subject), and a guy who is a politician, and has never been a Scientist in his life I would vouch that it is human nature for politicians to make flubs in logic. It is complete idiocy that makes Liberals, and the Media, take potshots at Republicans as being stupid and dumb.
Remember that it was John Kerry who warned us about “Hair Pollution” during the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
Nope. I live in New Jersey, which I believe has a pretty considerable influx of hispanic immigrants, legal or otherwise.
Mark for later
Bingo.
Shocker...the affirmative action candidate is wholly unqualified.
I’d make about 3 mistakes a day like that if I had to keep his schedule.
This isn't his first “numeracy” mistake. Some of them are orders of magnitude wrong.
My guesstimate based on performance to date is that Hussein Obama seems to have on the order of in excess of 10 gaffes for every single McCain mistake.
Yet the democrat party controlled mainstream media will ferociously tout that any future McCain gaffe is a symptom of early senility.
The very same media will totally spike the endless Obama verbal errors, as they have done in this interesting story.
It looks like Hussein could not pass a basic US Citizenship Test.
Obama lost his bearings, as he would say.
Obviously he meant to say 47, but the fact is the 47 year old guy had the first “senior moment”.
Thank you for the post.
