I have a question...

I bought a pair of glasses at Lenscrafters in the mall and I feel like I paid too much. I also don’t like them that much and the receipt says I have a thirty day unconditional money back guarantee. The website says if I don’t just love them, I can return them within thirty days...

What do you think? You think I can just take them back and say I don’t like them and return them?

I think I did an impulse buy and didn’t shop around well enough.

Also, any tips on a good place to buy glasses?

Absolutely! I did that with my phone.

I'd check the small print to say if you can return them for a refund or if you have to exchange them for another pair. But don't settle for something you don't like.

I got my latest pair at Walmart and I'm happy with them. I'd assume Sam's would be the same, but we let our membership lapse.

Corin is right, you may have to get a different pair from them, but it sounds like they want you to be happy with them. Unconditional money back guarantee sounds like you should get your money back though...unconditionally. :-)

Just say “they make me uncomfortable” and ask for your money back.

Check at WalMart. That’s where we got Joseph’s glasses the last couple of times. I think, even with the coupon we had from Lenscrafters, WalMart was less expensive. Have the folks there price exactly what you got from Lenscrafters to do a direct comparison. Then you can decide whether or not to return the ones you got at Lenscrafters. If it’s only a few bucks difference, it’s likely not enough to bother with.

Yup!

Nope - and I desperately need a new pair. Mebbe I'll try contacts again...
