I consider myself fairly easily offended, but I just think this is dumb.

Obviously it’s made to resemble Da Vinci’s last supper but I see nothing sacrilegious about it.

If you draw a straight line between all the participants, it spells out “Star Trek Bites”.

Was Leo sacrilegious when he painted the original since he had no idea what it looked like?

Does the lady on the left try to emulate ‘Adam’ in the ‘Creation’?

Is Battlestar Galactica being sacrilegious with this picture?

Oh my!! Hell yes.

Like you, I too am shopping for excuses for weakening my faith, and getting pissed about.

Testify sister!!

Nope. Personally, I think it's just artistic, and I also think it's primarily meant to evoke thoughts of a great artist as opposed to a specific religious occasion (although it would naturally do that as well). I'm sure I've seen references to famous art like this before... sort of like the recent Vanity Fair cover is more reminiscent of that one movie poster, and not the content of the movie itself (and if you don't know what's up with that you've been living under a rock. Seriously).

What do you think we are, Muslims?

The DaVinci painting is highly inaccurate. The tables was most likely low to the ground and Jesus and the Disciples most likely sat on pillows as they at two or three ROUND tables.

I am not offended but I think it is tacky. I also felt the San Francisco gay poster, from a few months ago, that struck the same poses with S&M afficionados was purely tacky.
