Why hasn’t Jordan been on this season since she won last year. Or, am I showing my age and she has performed and I don’t remember? It’s the finale, and as much as I adore Carrie, I would think Jordan would be there since she’s last season’s winner.

Jordin had to cancel some concerts due to voice problems... she might not have been able to be on because of that. If she’s not there tonight, that will be an indicator of how bad the voice problems are.

As of noon eastern time, they’re playing it in Cook’s favor but only by a slight edge.
My bet is that tonight’s vote will be stated and the largest amount of votes in Idol history (To show that the show hasn’t jumped the shark) and the also the closest margin ever.

For the Jason fans (I know, I know...I'm the only one):
MIX 98.5’s Fast Freddy rang in from La-La, where he is covering tonight’s “American Idol” finale, with the lowdown of gossip.
First off, Freddy reports that despite the dreads, the short-term memory loss and the “whatever” ’tude, Idol wannabe Jason Castro swears he has never, ever smoked weed!
“He acknowledged the stereotypes that come with dreads and a laid-back delivery, as well as the assumptions that America & the media have been buzzin’ about, but he wanted to assure us he has NEVER smoked the gigglygreen EVER,” the Fast one said.
Castro, who will appear on tonight’s finale, didn’t dish up a lot of details. So what can we expect? Freddy inquired.
“Um, dancin’ . . . a lotta dancin’ . . . and I sing. . . . yeah, a solo . . . which is cool.”
