Could be. Could be I’m being overly cynical tonight.... for no particular reason.

Absolutely amazing.....Im impressedI agree. Very original way of singing "Billie Jean" and he nailed it. If American Idol ended tonight, he'd win it with Michael Jones in 2nd and Kristy Lee Cook in 3rd, respectively.
To: Lijahsbubbe
The usual suspects did well, Brooke, Carlie, Michael, David A., but Kristi Lee actually did really good for a change.
Ramekin is my guess to go home. She screamed her song like she was on fire.

Just meant that she would do even more patriotic or conservative type songs, as opposed to monchichi’s liberal anthems.

And did you ever notice that they pick some the bad parts for some people and the good parts for others? It’s a tad shameless.

David Cook
Sings "Billie Jean", but don't worry--this isn't the Michael Jackson version. This is the more suitable Chris Cornell version.
Best performance of the night.
Randy: Most original, most bold contestant we've ever had. You could win this whole thing!
Paula: I can't sit down. I think you're brilliant
Simon: David that was great. That could either be insane or amazing, but I have to tell you that was amazing.
While David was great, before we start throwing roses at his feet we should know that this wasn't his arrangement of "Billie Jean".
The exact same version can be heard on Chris Cornell's recent album.
Click here to listen to a sample of the song. It's Track #8. David's performance sounded like a carbon copy.

Here’s the T-Wrap up:
1) David Cook - Hands down best of the night.
2) Chikezie - Nice voice
3) Kristy - Best performance for her so far.
4) Brooke - Back on the piano. Cute.
5) Aussie Boy - He’s stepped it up to the plate.
6) Syesha - Nice pipes.
7) Ramiele - Would have been better if she wasn’t sick.
8) David Arculetta - Did he sing tonight??
9) Carly - Even Randy didn’t like it.
10)Castro - Totally forgettable. He could be gone!
Who will go? Probably Castro or Ramiele.

Shoot, I didn’t even write down Kristy’s number to vote - do you have it by chance?

Oh gag, Frank Luntz just told Colmes that he gives Chris Wallace credit for spanking the Friends for too much negative coverage of Obama.

Recap overview---it seemed like a lot of screaming tonight.
The guys rocked, and I don't count David A in that group.
I have also figured out what's wrong with Carly. She slithers her head up and down when she sings; like a snake. It's creepy.

He certainly is not going to get sponsored by a comb manufacturer. That's ok, Daughtry already has those locked up. ;)

Great hosting, as usual.
David may have copied that version of Billie Jean, but it’s the first time most of America has heard it.
I’m back to the taxes, see ya later.

So re Chris Cornell - are you a fan or did you pick up that tidbit elsewhere. Is the guy worth checking out?
