IMO Carli had a strong performance tonight. Strong voice and sang a power braodway song. I had Shy third from the bottom for tinny tone. Jason couldn't handle the song and didn't even do the power verse.

'Idol' MP3 86'D It was there and now it isn't.

I told you Monday that "American Idol" contestant David Cook's album "Analog Heart" was available for downloading on Amazon's MP3 site. It was so popular that it rocketed to No. 1, beating Mariah Carey's latest release.

Tuesday, however, "Analog Heart" has been digitally removed. It's gone. Although a link remains to see the album cover, the ability to download it has been removed from the site. Additionally, the audio snippets for each song have been removed as well.

What remains are the 91 reviews from enthusiastic Cook fans who did download "Analog Heart" before "American Idol" had it pulled down. One can only wonder what's gone on backstage with Cook and the "Idol" producers, particularly the folks at 19 Entertainment. Cook seemed to be doing an end run around his contract with the show and management group before the contest ended.

Actually, I structured a couple real estate exchange transactions today. When you only get about 5-6 hours of sleep, it allows 18 or 19 hours to do other stuff. I’ll have another YouTube up tomorrow. The song only took about 15 minutes, but assembling the pictures and putting in the music will probably take a couple hours.

My top 2 tonight: Syesha and Carly. These performances should keep them on the island another week. Both were at their best and in their element.

Middle: The 2 Davids. Both seem to be immune to the Bottom 3 and are headed for the seemingly inevitable finals showdown.

Uh-oh: My girl Brooke’s in trouble after tonight. She couldn’t afford this after surviving the Kristy Lee bottom 2 showdown. Jason’s also very vulnerable.

Currently Carly Hennessy Smithson’s CD is still available on Amazon.

Chris Sligh sold a CD through Amazon during last year’s competition, and Taylor Hicks sold his pre-Idol CD, Under the Radar through an independent record store in Birmingham.
