Very nice article. I love Jason, too, but I think the Lord has much more important things in mind for him than American Idol.

I called the song this morning to Mrs. DFU.

It was a great choice for him. Not the kind of song I want to hear from David Cook (I agree with Simon on that), but it was an unexpectedly good performance.

Brooke = unnnnngh. "You Must Love Me." is *such* an ironic selection.

Yes. I can imagine her singing that again tomorrow night.

Thanks, I will check them out. Like I said, the article I read was so completely strange that I double checked to make sure it wasn't a joke.

Completely off-topic, can we have a prom? Because I would look so totally cute in this dress and I have no place to wear it. I call SJ as my date!!! ;-)

Brooke. Too much of the "hurt-puppy-planning-her-revenge-by-chewing-your-slipper" glare.

LOL!!

I love that little popcorn guy, not in an unhealthy, disproportionate way like some people feel about certain AI contestants..

I have a favor to ask of you. I am a member of Soldiers Angels and the founder was nominated in a “Favorite Mom” contest by her son. The prize is $25,000 and a spot on TV. It requires you sign up at the site & log in daily to vote. If you can, please help.

http://www.americasfavoritemom.com/mothers-day-2008/mom/Patti-P-3418#

Patti P is currently in 5th place and needs more votes.

In the world of Soldiers Angels... $25,000 can buy 35 Valour-IT laptops for our wounded hereos. It can buy 5000 wounded hero backpacks to send to those most in need. It can buy 50 airline tickets for families and soldiers in need to get back and forth in emergency situations. To an organization like Soldiers’ Angels that solely relies upon donations and sponsors to step forward with generous commitments to our programs, a gift like $25,000 will go a long ways.

Please go to www.americasfavoritemom.com and vote for Patti Patton.

for info on the group,
www.soldiersangels.org

we need people to vote every day and Keep Patti in the top 5 (hopefully higher). Please help, it is just a matter of logging on the site each day and voting.

Hell’s Kitchen is my husband’s new favorite show. Last week he said, “I can’t believe we never watched this show before! It’s great!!” LOL

I'm a fan too :) I also like Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on BBC America.

Note to self: Never order chicken at Hell's Kitchen :(

When a guy has twelve wives to choose from each night, I guess they get very competitive.

I just watched “Raise the Red Lantern”, a Chinese movie about a rich man with four wives. It was interesting to see how competitive they were, and how it led to tragedy. A wonderful movie.

My bottom 2: Jason for his weak range on a song that was much too big for him and Brooke for three or four reasons.

Shyesha was a little tinny tonight, but better that the other two. Carli and Cook my top two. David Munchkin in the middle.

I'll be back to put out any fires.

Time for the little teenie boppers with their cells to recognize their guy really can't bring it.

Kitchen Nightmares is on weekday evenings, the F-Word is on Sunday mornings.

And sometimes BBC America will have a Sunday afternoon marathon of Kitchen Nightmares--I love that, especially if they have three or four in a row I haven't seen.

Hi, EG :)

I think Brooke was the weakest tonight. She will probably be the next one to go.

I think so too.

She certainly looks better covering the tattoos.

Yes she does.

We've seen that arm tattoo so often that we have it memorized anyway.

Brit reported tonight that some survey showed nobody really cares about all this green stuff.

I sure don't.

And Rush said today that some green group had to admit that nothing has changed since the first Earth Day back in the 70s--LMAO!

My favorite Puddy episode is the New Jersey Devil’s episode.

When Puddy has the devil makeup and surprises Kramer when opens the door--that cracks me up every time :)
