That reminds me of when SNL did a parody of one of my all-time favorites, Perry Como.
The person pretending to be Perry was lying on the floor on his side, propped up on his elbow, and singing. That's what you call laid-back!
Oh crap! I forgot to buy everyone Earth Day gifts!
Sigh... some people! They just can’t get with the environment.!!! I expect better next year. ;) Don’t you love how Google does their part and covers their moniker in green leaves and vines. After seeing it this morning I still didn’t know it was earth day! :)
While youre at it tell your boy David Cook to mix in a push up once or twice a month, he looks like if you cut him he would bleed chocolate milk!
Not sure what the H*ll this statement means. And don't bother telling me, I'm done with you.
She certainly looks better covering the tattoos.
That one was on here too.
"You got it, Joe Mayo." :)
Brit reported tonight that some survey showed nobody really cares about all this green stuff. I mean, I’ll recycle because we have the cans outside but—don’t touch my FURS!
LOL--yep, that was the worst of the night.
LOL!!
My favorite Puddy episode is the New Jersey Devil’s episode. “I’ll come back later. We’ll make out.”
“What about that poor priest? He thinks he saw the devil!”
I can believe that. It's such a huge industry already though, that I think it will be really hard to put the brakes on this stuff.
There was one Absolute amazing vocal masterpiece, three superb performance, One absolute vocal trainwreck, and one disaster that destroyed what was actually a beautifully sung song.
On to the Rankings:
1. David Cook - Music Of the Night - For me this was on the level of Fantasia's "Summertime". Tonight David showed that he is not just a great rock singer, but he is just flat out a great singer. This was a vocal masterpiece. Absolutely breathtaking.
2. Carly Smithson - Jesus Christ Superstar - MY love/hate relationship with Carly continues. One week she sounds like a screeching banshee, the next week she rocks the house down. Tonight was one of her best. She absolutely sparkled on stage, and was electrifying. She did not try to overpower the song, and just sang. And she sang absolutely fantastically.
3. David Archuletta - Think of me - Another solid Monchichi performance. I have to admit, I really liked this. I would listen to this on the radio. Very very good job.
4. Syesha Mercado - One Rock and roll Too Many - HALLALUJAH!!! Syesha did not try to go big!! She did not SCREAM and SCREECH!!! She SANG!!! She bubbled!! She showed a personality! FINALLY!!!
5. Jason Castro - Memory - Kill me now. This was awful. Randy said it perfectly - A total trainwreck. He is only in 5th because of Brooke's disasterous gaffe.
6. Brooke White - You Must Love Me - brooke , I do love you, I think you sing beautifully. I think you sang this song wonderfully. However, YOU CANNOT FORGET THE STINKING LYRICS AT THIS POINT OF THE COMPETITION!!!!!! ANd for that one reason, YOU MUST LEAVE US!!
Bottom 2 - JAson and Brooke. I will not denegrate any of the other performances by putting one of them with these two. I will not shed a tear if Jason leaves, but in all honesty Brooke must leave this week for committing the cardinal sin of singing.
Speaking of green...one of the candidate’s crowd is holding green signs???
Thanks ;)
I agree about the cardinal sin but I am trying desperately to save her the same. ;)
I hope I have better luck saving Brooke than I did with Kristy last week. In fairness, I voted for BOTH Brooke and Kristy last week because I thought Kristy was going to be safe. Oh well...
See everyone tomorrow!
So far on DialIdol:
David Cook 32.67
David Archuleta 18.86
I just popped into Dial Idol (not that that means much) and they have Carly at the bottom.
Just proves your reading comprehension and ability to have a conversation are both inferior. It means he looks like he’s never exercised in his life, like he’s all bone and flab, hence he would bleed chocolate milk instead of blood. Please stay done with me.
Great article thanks for sharing it. :)
