Someone posted an article above. He’s got cancer and he was flown out to see David perform. The camera panned on him a few times. That’s why (I think) David had tears in his eyes.

And I think he’s paving his own way just like Chris Daughtry did. WOW!!!!!!! What a phenomenal performance and in my opinion, the BEST one of this season!!!! Way to go!
