Brooke really is beautiful...I think she has a career ahead of her. Maybe as a model, but the two blondes have serious pitch problems. I think Carly has the most singing talent but given this show isn't about singing talent like Simon laments she will be off in the next 1-3 weeks.
To: Clint N. Suhks
Syesha should have gone for sure. She should go next week, then the two pitchy blondes and the rastaman.
To: TonyWpi
Good work to all of you at Operation Save Kristy! Lets hope she keeps picking the right songs like the past 2 weeks. She may beat out the dreadlock kid! (One can only hope!) She should sing some annie lennox or something similar. She has the most talent of everyone, including the messy rocker kid that the chikcs vote for.

...for Obama as soon as he came on it was the first thing I saw and the first thing I thought was Rev Wright saying "G.D.America". He's never gonna live that down. And that might be the difference that saves this country from that man. Laugh at me if you will, but I am not altogether sure that Hussein Obama is not the anti-Christ.

I want to know how much each one of these beggars has forked out, in comparison to any one of us.
Actually Ellen gave 1 million last year and heard she is giving 1.5 million this year. Although, I don’t agree with her lifestyle, I do believe she is a nice person.

I think Carly has the most singing talent ......Don't agree at all.

We also get things that are up high and put them back away when you're done with them. I'm almost 6 feet tall. Not really an issue for me. ;-)

My two bottom singers based upon performance throughout: Brooke and Jason. Couldn't agree more.

David A. is on cloud nine right now during this liberal love fest.
ROTFLMAO!

Wasn't that cruel?? Why did he do that? To show he's a jerk I guess.... I was thinking about that. Does he have a script that he raeds from or does he ad lib? They're always trying to keep you guessing and fake you out on who's leaving. I just wonder if he ad libbed and didn't realize how cruel it actually was.

Laugh at me if you will, but I am not altogether sure that Hussein Obama is not the anti-Christ. I am seriously NOT laughing. I've said all along that the man is unelectable...he's toxic but if he does somehow manage to get elected you're going to have a very hard time convincing me that he's not the anti-Christ.

Wow.
Insightful if brutal synopsis.
I agree. Right down the line. ( Brook seems very 'put-on', imo. Her demeanor annoys the heck out of me. )

Juan Pablo McCain's jokes about Florida and Michigan. Classic!! Can you tell me what this is about? Was McCain on with a joke? I haven't followed it real closely, so someone may have to correct me.
Not sure about Florida, but in Michigan, Michigan chose to move their primary to an earlier date which was against some sort of rules. There was some talk about letting them re-vote via the mail. Which I say would be wrong. First of all, both Dems and Republicans voted in their primaries at the same time, so why is it that only the Dems would get a re-vote. A lot of Republicans got screwed by the early primary, where they voted for candidates that dropped out shortly after.

Jason is a typical "Texas Roots" musician, even if he doesn't know it yet. A guitar-playing troubadour-type like Robert Earl Keen, Cory Morrow and (although he's not in the same league) Willie Nelson. Definitely not the most polished voice, but that's the point in Texas (Texas musicians seem to enjoy the fact that they are not "Nashville Slick"). The point is the story you're telling and the emotion and pictures the music evokes in your mind. Castro could make a fine living for himself just touring the beer joints of the New Braunfels/Austin/San Antonio area, doing his thing. Is he the next American Idol? Heck, no. Is he a waste of space? Heck, no. He's the only person on that show that I look forward to seeing each week. Would I pay $20 to see him play at my favorite bar in Port Aransas? Oh, yeah!!
The problem is that he looks like he wants to be a "hippie" guitarist, and there is no market for that drivel these days. With some tweaking, his voice and personality could lead to a story-telling troubadour in the country/folk vein. I'm thinking more Lyle Lovett than Willie or REK.
He's very young, and needs to "find" himself, musically. He needs to be honest with himself and ask, "Is mainstream success REALLY what I want?" because he's going to have to make some big changes if that's his goal.

That flag could have devoured him. Made him look skinny, small and dull. For all that charisma Barry’s supposed to have, McCain was much more dazzling.

I look forward to his spot on the show and generally enjoy his performances but don't see him as the next American Idol. He'll do better just finishing strong and figuring out what he really wants to do. I think my wife wants to adopt him.
