Bravo’s now got a version that started last week also, called Step It Up and Dance (Thursday nights). Sort of an older version of SYTYCD (not as many young kids) but edgier than DWTS.

This show is so strange. Its sort of like an awards show, but no awards. Just a bunch of crappy speeches, lame comedy, and Billy Crystal. That pretty much sums it up :)

Thank You so much! I’ll check it out.
I’m a big Ballroom fan, if they have any of that I’m in.

Which one (favorite Christian song at the end)?? I saw someone say they took out “My Jesus” which of course makes me think of “Shout to the Lord” but THAT would REALLY stun the heck out of me to hear on Idol! LOL!
To: Clint N. Suhks
Sure! Hard to tell what all it will have since last week was the first week, but could be interesting :-) I’m just glad it seems a bit older than SYTYCD. That was fun for awhile but is repetative to me now, so I’m looking forward to a new variation!
To: mfccinsd
They actually did sing “Shout to the Lord” at the end of the show. I was shocked!

Great ending song - my favorite Christian song.
I’m elated they invoke the presence of God period.
Too bad they changed the song and left Jesus out of it. The words are MY JESUS, MY SAVIOR...not my shepherd, my savior. (Sigh)
To: Cudjo
do you suspose well miss HIllary and ObamaLooked like it :)
But I couldn't tell much difference--we're getting flooded with Hillary and Obama ads in NC. "Take from the rich to give to the poor" seems to be the common theme.
Oh and everything is Bush's fault.

That's so cool! I checked and the first show is repeated so I'm going to TiVo it and what looks like the regular time slot at 10:00pm est weekly.
Thank you again!

*sigh*
I heard the word Lord so I assumed.
But wait! Lord means God or Jesus for Christians, maybe they are not trying to alienate our brethren Jews. I have absolutely no problem with that.

The only possible explanation for Carly’s nearly exclusive wearing of sleeveless tops is that she herself wants to show off her tats. Yuck. I’m sure I’m not the only one who would just as soon not have to see them every single week.
To: Miss Didi
Thanks for the heads up about the Green River Killer movie. It’s on Friday morning also.
To: Shelayne; silent_jonny
Ooooh, no candidates! (thank you, Lord!) Here in the Keystone state we have to suffer through almost two more weeks of commercials and stumping by Shrillery and O-man.
Imagine the tremendous "give back" that could have happened if one of those maggots would have come on tonight and said "No more commercials from me in Pennsylvania--I'm giving what would have been spent on that advertising."
