I muted that Idol Gives Back segment...Carly is either crying or having a hot flash.
I thought House was coming back on Monday, April 14?!?!?!?!?!
Yeah, that was a tear-jerker for sure.
Oops, me too. Guilty! I seldom vote until the very end of the season!
Glad she wasn’t looking for her daddy ...
How do you know what they’ll be singing next week?
I hope you are right!
I don’t know.
I’m glad I didn’t miss Dolly, but what is she wearing??
That is a gown from the Wite Trash collection of bridal wear LOL
Did you see Jordan?????
Wow! Last week Simon praised Lee Greenwood and God Bless the USA. This week Dolly sings about Jesus. What’s going on in Hollywood?
That’s the thing, it’s not even really a gown. It’s like pants and a cape sorta thing.
I think Simon has fallen in love with her.
“I’ve got Jesus and you’ve got Simon.”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
She sings a new song called "Jesus & Gravity". The Clark Brothers' song also mentioned Jesus several times and so did the Dolly song that Castro performed last night. Worth noting, IMO.
This is great. Dolly points up when she says Jesus. "He's everything!"
Dolly is wearing white, a band behind her and a choir surrounds her.
She gets a standing-O.
After the song, Seacrest chats with Dolly. Wants to know if Simon can be allowed back into Dollywood.
Dolly: Hey, I've got Jesus. You've got Simon! (Laughs)
Yes! She’s such a doll.
Ha ha ha! I love it (about Jason) Yeah the hair isn’t appealing, but he is pretty cute...and the 15 year olds standing in front of us were DEFINITELY squealing so no one would have noticed if the rest of us that aren’t quite 15 were :-)
I REALLY like Brooke even more after yesterday...she has some very Carrie-esque personality qualities!
The difference when the whole gang came out pre-taping and how they acted and interacted (with the audience and one another) was probably the most interesting to me. And she (Brooke) was clearly the real deal. Ramiele looked defeated before she began and before she sang (and even worse on the live show). KL seemed SO buoyed by last week’s strong week (and honestly did very well in the DR also). Sayesha was in tears after singing, and was the hardest to read before...sort of looks like she knows she doesn’t have a big fan base and is perpetually in potential trouble voting wise and that she was taking a big risk, but I think that was from her heart yesterday, as cheesy as it may be. I was most disappointed that the read I’d gotten on David Cook seemed completely accurate in person. From start to finish, although I do feel badly knowing about what’s going on off the show. And David A seemed like a cute. little. kid. Emphasis on the last two words. LOL. Sweet, but in way over his head in general.
In the immportal words of Dolly Parton : “It takes a lot of money to look this trashy!” LOL
Taylor’s my favorite of all of ‘em.

Mine, too! I really looked forward to his segment each week, because he was such an entertainer.
I don’t know. The libs are probably freaking out about “pandering to fly-over country.”
