Me, too and I did for a week. Didn't have much money for food one week and I bought a 10 lb bag. Had em fried, baked, boiled and mashed. Oddly enough, I lost 5 pounds that week. Go figure! :)
Good luck to you. I used One Step and have been smoke free for 4 1/2 years now.
I still like the smell of cigarettes, but in small doses. If a restaurant really has a lot of smoke though, I'll head for the non smoking though.
The gal that does my hair smokes and sometimes her breath just reeks of it and is really bad. :(
It's hard, but keep trying, eventually it will take.
I thought that the chefs should have been brought in, one at a time so that they couldn't be influenced by what the other chefs thought of the food.
I used sugar free hard candy a lot. Afirst I thought, oh great a new addiction, but, in time that passes too.
Former ‘American Idol’ finalist Paris Bennett pregnant with first child
Paris Bennett is making the leap from pint-size powerhouse to parent.
The former American Idol fifth-season finalist — who will turn 20 on August 21 — is expecting the birth of a baby girl in October, Bennett’s mom Jamecia told the Minneapolis - St. Paul Star Tribune on Thursday.
“I’m proud of how she did it. I was 16 when I got pregnant,” Jamecia told the Star Tribune.
Jamecia declined to comment on the identity of the baby’s father at his request.
“He chooses not to be in the public eye,” she told the Star Tribune. “I respect that.”
While the father may not want to be identified at the time being, Jamecia told the Star Tribune that he has given Bennett a “ring” — making mom “hopeful” that a wedding is in the works.
An August baby shower is currently being planned for Bennett, according to the Star Tribune, and the guest list could include such celebrities as her grandmother, gospel and R&B singer Ann Nesby, and singer and actress Queen Latifah.
Nicknamed “Princess P” during her Spring 2006 Idol run — in which she finished fifth — Bennett’s second album is reportedly slated to drop later this year.
I believe it was filet. Can’t go wrong there. I have come to greatly despise Christina’s smugness. Her superior attitude is laughable. From what I’ve seen she would be lucky to get a gig at IHOP—as long as she didn’t have to cook meat.
I’ve struggled to avoid the spoilers. They’re out there. I’m trying...lol.
I thought that same thing especially when Ramsay told the 3rd chef that if he chose Petrozza’s dish it would be over. It might have been better if the chefs did not know what the others thought or what the count was. I would have been fine with them not even knowing which was which.
"That's not me, chef!"
:)
I quit in ‘84 & still struggle with the urge from time to time.
I'm utterly speechless for once.
LMAO!! Petroza may be messy, but he definitely seems more deserving then anyone to win.
ROTFLMAO!!!!
That is hysterical!!!!
Exactly! I meant to include that, as well. I'm glad it turned out the way it did, but still think it would have been better with the double blind.
Yeah, that line caught my eye as well. I suppose she might have meant that she waited until she was 21 instead if getting pregnant at 16, but at 21 they both should have been using contraceptives. It isn't like she's poor and couldn't afford them. UNLESS she was trying to trap the guy. If so, then its a bad move, imo.
One of the things I like about Petrouza is that he never set out to sabotage anyone. Like the others, he was there to win, but not at the sake of treating others as best he could and being a team player.
The others have selected times when they were NOT team players, or flat out sabotaged others. The women were the worst.
I imagine it will always be that way. It's awful hard to quit.
You are so right about the first three weeks being bad. I had made it about 3 1/2 weeks when my husband died, had a real hard time sleeping soI would get up and come in to my computer and smoke and play games, quickly got back to 3 1/2 pks a day and my hands are still sore from playing games, my fingers are cramping and I have to use my other hand to straighten my fingers out. but this time I am definitely going to quit, cigarettes cost too much and the smell is awful
I guess the generation gap shows with me, I’ll never understand these mothers so proud of their pregnanat unmarried daughters. Times have sure changed, I was adopted because it was frowned on so much when I was born
My grandmother was adopted for the same reason.
I can’t imagine trying to grow up and have a baby to raise, too. I’m 32 and I can’t imagine having a 16 year old!
When I was growing up we knew who the pregnant girls were. They were the ones who went to stay with “grandma”.
