I've found that the first three weeks are the worst. After that it starts getting a little easier each week. It doesn't go away completely. Once in a while I still want one really bad, but it passes in a couple of minutes. It's weird.
I used sugar free hard candy a lot. Afirst I thought, oh great a new addiction, but, in time that passes too.

(If we can't locate/deport illegals, how will we get them to come forward to pay their $3,250 fines?)

You are so right about the first three weeks being bad. I had made it about 3 1/2 weeks when my husband died, had a real hard time sleeping soI would get up and come in to my computer and smoke and play games, quickly got back to 3 1/2 pks a day and my hands are still sore from playing games, my fingers are cramping and I have to use my other hand to straighten my fingers out. but this time I am definitely going to quit, cigarettes cost too much and the smell is awful
