You know I think that’s it. It’s always about “strategy” with her & not about getting it done in the kitchen.

Yep and sometimes they just refuse to work 'together'. I remember one episode where Ramsey kept telling them to get someone to help so-and-so and no one budged. And the guys are no better. No communication.

I remember her name now--it's "Pearl"!

LOL!

You’re welcome, too!

Could you add me to your master ping list, please? I’m burned out on the firestorm threads. Thanks!

How in tarnation does the photon know it's being watched and act the opposite way?

Maybe it's the same way that you know that someone in the car in the next lane is looking at you. :-)

I really liked Kristy Lee Cook but knew she’s never make the finals.

Gosh...for a second there it read 'naked in the finals'. LOL!

I'm back and it went great! I love it! I'm going to post a picture tomorrow.

Yes, and at the ripe old age of 29 this grey hair that all of the sudden outta blue started kickin in, and miracleously my age started to regress!

LOL!! What was so funny was I was talking to the tattoo guy about ages and he asked how old I was. I told him to guess (loaded question, I know). He said, "Um...27?" I told him I will be 33 in a couple of months. He said, "Really?? I can't believe you're over 30." I told him I loved him. He said, "I'm not saying that to be flattering, I never would have guessed you were over 30 at all." I said, "Yeah, that's why I love you." LOL

He had to have known they had nothing to lose if he did.

What astonishes me is I think Louross did it because he thought it was simply not good enough to mix veal and chicken, and he let his arrogant, stupid pride get the best of him.

This is this first year I've really watched it and think it's hilarious. I love it when Ramsey tells everyone:

Now go piss off! LOL!

LOL! Exactly! Especially, when you might be doing something untwart. ;-)

Sidenote:
I think I meant to write electron, instead of photon. I don't know, either way it's fascinating.

I'm back and it went great!

Great! I'm glad you're so satisfied, especially after the love trist you had with the tat guy for telling you how young he thought you looked! ;-)

Heck fire, I kept getting carded up until I was at least thirty-five!

AT&T Records More Than 78 Million “American Idol”-Related Text Messages

San Antonio, Texas.-AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced today that the company has shattered its text messaging record of 64.5 million by generating more than 78 million messages this season of “American Idol” — the most popular show on television.

This season, AT&T conducted an informal poll on its Web site to get a sense from customers about the role text messaging has played. Poll results are based on the 416 responses submitted March 7 to May 5, 2008.

* Fifty-one percent said they tend to text more frequently during the “American Idol” season than other times of the year.
* Forty-three percent said they discuss “American Idol” with others via text messaging while watching the show.
* Twenty-two percent said they first learned to text message by voting for their favorite Idol contestant.
* By texting their votes this season, AT&T’s wireless customers helped crown a new “American Idol” champion, David Cook, and made it possible for AT&T to capture a new text messaging milestone for television’s No. 1 show.

I think he did let his pride get in the way. It was an idiotic move. He had nothing to lose. Ramsey made the rules clear. He better be glad it worked out the way it did. I think the guys would have put him up in a heartbeat. Wouldn’t have blamed them.

Watching Gordon Ramsey blow a gasket is one of the best parts of the show. I think he’s banged his head on the wall or a table at least 3 times so far this season. But they make him do it. “STUPID DONKEYS!!!”

I’ve got good genes. My mom is turning 60 this year and no one can believe it. People are floored when they find out her kids are 40 and 32. You can see them doing the addition in their head.

I’ll post a picture tonight.

After listening to Cook’s songs at the finale, I thought he sounded so much better than when I saw it live. It’s also fun going back through the weeks playing his songs, especially on the Top 6 night - my favorite. It gives me chills.

I agree - great shot of his brother. I had the best time listening to Cook’s songs by the week. “Billy Jean” is absolutely awesome.

Fried spam? Okay, hadn’t heard that, YUM. ;) That’s almost as bad as a fried candy bar. That sounds very deadly and artery clogging. Jonny I didn’t get to come on on the final night, but i did get to see the show. Thanks again for putting so much into this thread, I can’t imagine AI without the fun and cameraderie without this thread. You do a good job keeping us all in line. :)
