Fried spam? Okay, hadn’t heard that, YUM. ;) That’s almost as bad as a fried candy bar. That sounds very deadly and artery clogging. Jonny I didn’t get to come on on the final night, but i did get to see the show. Fried spam can be yummy, chopped in long, small pieces and sauteed with a couple pieces of bacon, a stalk of celery, a small diced onion and added to rice with a smidgeon of soy sauce.
Can also add leftover veggies and/or scrambled egg.
Learned that from college roomies, two of which were Asian and taught me how to cook rice the right way.
Did you know you can cook a full pot of rice in any size pot just by measuring up to the first finger joint?
First the rice and then the same measure for water.
Makes a full pot, large or small.
