America is being put to shame at commerce by the BRICS communists. Not a good sign.

What exactly can America sell to Africans? Sophisticated financial products?
Africans need cheap cars, refrigerators, generators and motorcycles - none of which America produces. Africans cannot afford American software (Most African banking software is from India).
All America needs from Africa is Oil, and it is getting more than its fair share.
Americans don’t want to invest in Africa, they want to give aid. So let’s leave Africa to the people who want to invest.

"because the boom is a potentially pivotal opportunity for African countries to move beyond their traditional reliance on single-commodity exports and move up from the bottom of the international production chain, especially if growth-enhancing opportunities for trade and investment with the North continue to be as limited as they have been historically." If that is the case, great. Africa ought to capitalize on its huge mineral and hydrocarbon resources to fund industrialization and services.
Brazil, India, and (technically) Russia are not Communist, although, in supporting your statement, India has a strong Communist group and Brazil a leftist government, while Russia is becoming more and more autocratic.
