I wondered how you chose your nickname, or even your tagline. I enjoy reading the wide variety of names and taglines, as well as some home pages. FReepers are very creative, and smart. I've learned a lot here!

I am a dedicated fan of Dennis Prager. Fortunately his show is available via podcast.
Isn’t it amazing how much we still love our pets even after they pass on? There’s a poem about the Rainbow Bridge... I can’t bear to read it, it always chokes me up.

How sad to see those folks wasting their God-given talents. I’ve often thought about your tagline when I see run-down areas of towns, or especially housing projects.

My brother lives in Corona and we just happened to see the factory near the 91 one day while visiting the area. It would be cool if they had a museum or showroom there!

Inebriated cousin couldn’t seem to get my name Tricia out right. I’ve been “Trilla” ever since.

Our neighbors’ kids used to call their grandparents, “mom-mom” and “pop-pop.” It was kinda cute. Although, I don’t know how pop-pop, who was a saint, put up with mom-mom. She could have stretched anyone’s patience!

No duplicate? Here’s a no duplicate:
“Mommle”
Or as my nephew and others including my mom mis-spell it, “Mah-Mal”. But “mommle” best describes in English phonetics how they say it.
It’s all thanks to my older nephew who attempted to call to his grandma at an early age, not knowing what to call her, I guess. I suppose he heard his mom and me call her “Mom”.
It’s stuck. His sisters adopted it and so even have Mom’s elder “step-grandchildren”! LOL 35year-olds seriously calling her “Mommle”. She likes it because she’s vain and it’s hard for people to tell it means “grandma” and thus, “old woman”.

great taglineSadly, it's true.
I picked my screen nick one night after spending all day at the range. I was home cleaning my Sig's and sipping some Jack Daniels... and well, one thing led to another.

Isnt it amazing how much we still love our pets even after they pass on?Yep. It's been over 2 months since we had to put down my dog but every now and then I look around and expect to see her. I've read that poem too - it certainly is a tear-jerker.

Tubebender was my CB handle.
Tubebender referred to my occupation and the fact early radios were tube type...

Our dog Waggs was 15 and she had liver disease before we finally had to have her put down. She was a dear, dear black labrador.

Many Central Texans have guessed mine. It’s a play on McLennan County, Texas where I live. I changed it to McLynnan so you’d all know I’m a girl.

My daughter’s mother in law chose GG, because it sounded the least like grandma. I can tell you there is nothing like the sound of a 3 or 4 year old who sees you coming in the church door, shouting so the world can hear, ‘GramE’s here’. That sounds like love to me and my age doesn’t matter.
