I once saw Marvin Gaye sing the national anthem at a boxing match. It was mesmerizing. While Jordin didn’t bring a tear to my eye the way Marvin did, I thoroughly enjoyed her performance. It was non-standard without the annoying Whitney Houston runs.

I like the traditional song and hate it when performers change the notes, etc. to their liking. I looked at Jordan, conservative, Christian and pro-life and remembered when Roseanne Barr sang at the World Series (?). What a difference!
