Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Maybe they are just practicing in case the schools are in session when a ‘surprise’ sleet storm hits. With our weatherweenies forecasting abilities, it could happen.
Here's the update.
Dr called me late yesterday afternoon and said that before they would schedule a visit with the nephrologist, he wanted another 24 hour urine test done. They are checking Aldosterone, Cortisol and something called 5HIAA.
I can't drink any coffee for 24 hours!
She also ordered a urine drug screen. That's ok.
She also started me a THIRD blood pressure medicine. A Catapres patch, which I apply once a week. I started that last night after my bath.
BP this morning 160/110.
No coffee AND no crack? Man... that's hard ;~)
Glad they’re on top of things for you! Take it easy....
LOL!!!
One of the medications they put me on slows my heart rate way down.
I gotta admit, it feels good. Comfortable.
heheheheh...she said “crack”...

hope the docs figger out wazzup... prayers will be cont'd...
hehheh...heheheheh...she said hard...
"people on 'ludes, should not drive..." / Spiccoli
Ouch!
Ahh... the Scorpions. IIRC.
Mornin’ folkses...
[sip]
LOL!!
Actually, when I first went in to see the doc, they tried to tell me this was all anxiety related. Wanted to put me on sedatives. I got really offended. Told them I didn’t believe it was...I just have a high metabolism!
Told them I didn’t want them doping me up and not finding out what the problem was.
I started keeping a flow sheet with all my BPs on it. I was able to show that when I’m laying on the floor watching TV, very relaxed...my bp would be 180/120 and then I’d take my bp right in the middle of a “heated discussion” with Steve and it would be 150/90. It actually drops when I’m under stress (like it did immediately after the stress test at the hospital...dropped to 116/76 or something like that.)
So I was able to prove it’s not stress related, so I don’t want to be doped up.
So now they want to do a drug screen on me? Ok. But if I was a druggy, I can assure you I wouldn’t turn down prescription dope. I have taken care of enough drug seekers to know that they grasp at every opportunity for any kind of the stuff.
Me? Right off the bat I was telling them NO! Don’t dope me!
ARGHH! That, alone, would make MY BP go up! ;o) I hate it when I can't drink coffee before a physical or a mammogram. I go in for the test, then, on the way home, stop at the nearest Dunkin Donuts to get a HUGH cup o coffee.
Don’t dope me, bro!
Coffee | nose
I sure wish this wasn’t taking so long. :-\ But it sounds like progress, huh? Are you starting the 24 hour test right now?
The following takes place between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. EST...
***flush***
Oh dear...
Coffee | nose
No no... not with the coffee. You're doing it wrong ;~)
