I’ve just accepted that any movement forward is a good thing. Long term, it’s better to get in the habit of writing twenty or thirty minutes a day than it is to attempt NaNo level obsession on a regular basis. So I’m working on that.
Having the typewriter out on the kitchen table at all times helps...
I’ve been using the Neti Pot almost every day, and I haven’t had any sinus headaches at all!
Well, I’m a bit hampered by not having the PC and things on the laptop taking longer (should have the PC back from repair/upgrade by Monday).
I have read through a good portion of what I wrote in November and made some notes. But I’ve yet to sit down and actually write anything.
I am, however, keeping up with theblog, and homework, and the house, and the cat’s surgery/recovery...so I don’t feel too bad about no writing progress.
I wrote like 2 paragraphs a week or more back.
I got some gift cards from American Express. I’m fixin’ to cancel that card and so I cashed in all my points and got a fifty dollar gift card to the Cheescake Factory and also one to PF Changs.
We got four slices of cheescake, two plain cups of coffee and it cost us $45.00 including tip at the Cheesecake Factory. :-O
Haven’t been to PF Changs yet.
We love P.F. Changs (and Cheesecake Factory too). Try the lettuce wraps for your appetizer.
Last time we were there it was just the two of us. We sat at the bar rather than wait for a table. The bartender recommended everything we had, and made some great selections.
Ack! We are on low carbs and you are eeeevil!!
I didn't see her offering to spend those gift cards on you...

Well, tomorrow?
I took a half day yesterday and right as I was wrapping my Crystal-Light scarf around my neck and heading out the door, my boss came in and gave me lead on a superbigdeal project. The cuss word slipped out before I knew what was happening. So I have that to look forward to tomorrow - that and about 10+ hours of overtime per week from here until eternity.
Heh...if only!
Well, I got to go home early since I worked about an eleven hour day yesterday...
I stopped on the way home and signed my soul away from some Sudafed. Gee whiz...first time I’d bought any here, and I wasn’t completely prepared for all the paperwork. I think crack might be easier to obtain.
But I guess Sudafed is cheaper. So there’s that.
So...if this *is* a sinus headache, it should help. If not...well, durn.
Er...*for* some Sudafed.
