Mizzou finished strong against the Razorbacks...they will get lotsa respect next year for sure, but they must feel like they should be playing LSU right about now.

Next year might be the best year in college ball ever--most of the elite teams do not lose that many players. And, I can't wait to see my Wolverines with Rodriguez (if we can only get thaqt PA QB Prior to sign up...)

Bad decision to go for it on 4th and 2 on the VT 20 or so. Kick the FG, you’re up two TDs. Don’t agree with it myself.

Kansas wins the Orange Bowl. I have to say I’m surprised.

KU should wind up at least #3. It would have been nice to see what they would have done against OU.

Well, good work by the Jayhawks...I think EVERYONE was surprised.

Now, if only my beloved G-men can surprise Coach Chuckie and the Bucs (we're 3 point dogs).

We drove in from Jacksonville last night and listened to the first quarter of the KU game - got inside quickly to watch the remainder and I have to say I was very impressed!

I think KU played better last night than they did even during a good season. The Big 12 did pretty well this bowl season.

..Tech can dominate teams in the early/weaker part of the schedule, but when they go up against OU, UT, and A&M, they get rolled.”..

Not only have be beaten Texas A&M repeatedly, we have beaten OU two of the last four times we've played them.

When I was there, we beat Texas more often than no, too.

I was very pleased with the Big 12 overall this season - we had a huge change in the North - some very very strong teams (and they can just calm down for next season, thanks!) - but as a whole, I think we won 5 of 8 bowl games, which is just under the SEC win percentage.

Let's pretend you're bored with the NFL Playoffs and you don't really want to watch HGTV or The Oprah or whatever girly girl thing your significant other likes to watch. Well, you're in luck, I have the antidote to such a predicament. Two, yes that's right two more bowl games before the National Championship game! No need to thank me, thank the sponsors for this weekend's games...
Rutgers and Ball State will be centre stage in the International Bowl (High Noon, ESPN2) Why have a bowl game in Toronto of all places? Well, aside from the great pleasure of watching Rutgers all-time leading rusher Ray Rice pick apart a Ball State defense, as a provision of the impending North American Union, there will be at least 5 bowl games in the former Canada and Mexico. Of course, the college teams from Mexico will have to forfeit every game when they bring a "soccer" ball to every game. Don't say I didn't warn you (cue spooky music)
Sunday night, Bowling Green takes on Tulsa in the GMAC Bowl (8:00 pm Sunday, ESPN) Little known fact: Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell has a little brother that is a freshman on the Tulsa team. Let's welcome Clark Harrell everybody!
Wow, there's only one more game left. This makes me sad on the inside. I'm not normally sentimental. But enjoy the games this weekend...even the NFL games. ;)

I do hope Rutgers wins because that would make it 3-2 for the Big East. This is great way to close out a wondeful Big East conference football season which realized new found respect from the “big boys” conferences. May it continue. :)

I'll second that. The Scarlet Knights should handle, with Ray Rice having a field day.

BTW, I heard a sports pundit say words to the effect that next year's NCAA D-1 football will be even MORE of a free-for-all than this year's. Can't wait...
