Let's pretend you're bored with the NFL Playoffs and you don't really want to watch HGTV or The Oprah or whatever girly girl thing your significant other likes to watch. Well, you're in luck, I have the antidote to such a predicament. Two, yes that's right two more bowl games before the National Championship game! No need to thank me, thank the sponsors for this weekend's games...
Rutgers and Ball State will be centre stage in the International Bowl (High Noon, ESPN2) Why have a bowl game in Toronto of all places? Well, aside from the great pleasure of watching Rutgers all-time leading rusher Ray Rice pick apart a Ball State defense, as a provision of the impending North American Union, there will be at least 5 bowl games in the former Canada and Mexico. Of course, the college teams from Mexico will have to forfeit every game when they bring a "soccer" ball to every game. Don't say I didn't warn you (cue spooky music)
Sunday night, Bowling Green takes on Tulsa in the GMAC Bowl (8:00 pm Sunday, ESPN) Little known fact: Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell has a little brother that is a freshman on the Tulsa team. Let's welcome Clark Harrell everybody!
Wow, there's only one more game left. This makes me sad on the inside. I'm not normally sentimental. But enjoy the games this weekend...even the NFL games. ;)
