It's the most wonderful time of the year...With my Utes winning bowl games and BYU losing so I'll be of good cheer...it's the most wonderful time of the year...
--Ow! Tomatoes hurt you know. Sheesh...
During the regular season, I would normally do my fancy and mildly humorous graphical elements and those of you who would like me to feature their school's games, I would oblige. However, since we've got miles to go before we sleep, I'll re-ping the list as we go along and include said graphics. Sound like a deal? Excellent.
Tomorrow the fun will begin. (For me, at least). :)
Well Florida had some opportunities to win and they blew it bigtime.
And Michigan had opportunities to blow them out but blew them as well.
A little bit of the outside hockey, it should be done more because the NHL should have this once or twice during the regular season.
UM could take down UF, then OSU has a good shot of taking down LSU.
Yippie. 14-0 with about 7 minutes to go in the first quarter. But once again, we needed this matchup because of TRADITION!
I demand more TRADITION in college football next year!
I know this is mean, but I hope one of these showboats seriously injures a knee or ankle doing one of those stupid "Everyone look at me I scired a TD" flips. Act like you have been to the endzone before you selfish little creep!!!!!!
Int. ILL, then trickery by USC puts them up 14-0. This could get ugly really fast.
....Or better yet, since Michigan is going to be coached by Richard Rodregrez, the former head coach of UWV, expect what was seen today by Michigan to become the rule. BTW, speaking about the Mountaineers, it will be interesting tommorrow night when they play in the Fiesta Bowl. With the team having been in such turmoil the last few weeks, I do hope they can pull off a victory on the field.
This game was ugly when the made the matchup. How the Big 10 got two teams to major bowls is beyond comprehension. The Big 10 was one big pile of suck this year.
Well one of those Big 10 pulled off a win today against last year’s bowl champion. So for the Big 10, there is hope.
I have the feeling WVU will be in the same boat as Arkansas today. Arkansas lost thier coach and entire staff after the season, and it showed today — the team was totally lost as to what to do.
Yeah, but these lesser bowl games don’t mean much. I can’t count the number of times a higher ranked team lost to a lower ranked team because the higher ranked one just didn’t care. But I guess winning the prestegious Champs Sports Bowl is a great accomplishment.
Hang in there, next season will be here before you it.
I’m still walking around saying, “Illinois?”
People across the country are changing the channel in the 1st Qtr. What the heck, BCS people?
Well this is the BCS for you. Set up this way so we can demand more.
I never thought I’d see Harvin run down from behind. Bet his ego took out hit.
Florida was tied for 4th in the SEC. Michigan was tied for 2nd in the Big 10. Who cares what a team did last year?
As for the National Championship game, I’m still trying to figure out how the teams were chosen. I was shocked as can be that Ohio State lost last year except that there is the Heisman curse that seems to have an effect on Heisman winners. Ohio State should win this year’s game if we go by their record. But this has been a very strange year. I won’t bet either way.
"Illinois presented the tradition of the Big Ten-Pac-10, and wanting to stick with that tradition when we can was really the primary decision,'' said CL Keedy, president of the Tournament of Roses Association
Screw the idea of having a good game. We want, nay demand, tradition!
Heh. This just adds more fuel for my already white hot hatred of the BCS and the lack of a college football playoff.
