[Soaring Feather]

My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

WOW lovely frame, looks like my area! The snow is falling fast and furious piling up quickly. Probably and inch or more out there in one hour, gonna be a hummer! ;0)

Well, I am so glad my Lab appointment was yesterday and that I was able to get groceries, things are getting nasty very fast out there.

The snow is pretty to look at but not so much fun to deal with (for those on the roads.) Grateful we did not have to deal with the ice storm, so many are still without power.

I need to do a big shopping..I have been quick trip shopping since Thanksgiving..unlike my usual.

I love to look at snow..It’s a rare big event here...but I don’t want to drive or go shopping in it!

I do know about ice storms..also beautiful but so destructive. I feel for those without power,too.

Been there, done that, moved to where I don’t have to live with so much of it any more...but it is sure pretty when it comes down...enjoy! Take pics! We had about 2 inches of snow a few days ago, but it’s melted off the front yard and half gone from the back. Way my hand feels, more to come.

Our snow has stopped falling around 6:00pm, all the trees are flocked, the sidewalks have been shoveled, and the porch has been swept, it is beautiful out there.

All schools closed at noon.
