I will be tuned into the Packers game mainly because Favre is my Fantasy QB and I also have WR’s Driver and Jones.
I also will be keeping an eye on Bengals/Chiefs as the Early AFC game to watch.
I like KC in the upset, they are a 3.0 point underdog at home.
Unfortunately the Cin-KC game is the one CBS in all their infinite wisdom chose to show in my market at 1:00. I would have much preferred to have seen Hou-Jax.
I wonder who is going to go first in Green Bay.. Brett Farve or Mike McCarthy....
I think it will be a good game, though the Jax/Hou should be a good one also. I like this Jax team.
I surprised myself and shed tears when we won that pennant. We Astros fans had waited a long, long, long time for that.
The Cardinals fans were a class act, standing and applauding our guys when they won. I will always respect them for that.
GO SKINS, GO TEXANS!! Here we go...
hmm...Dolphins/Browns on CBS. I don’t have to leave the house or listen online for once, w00t.
Cleveland up 7-0 just like that...
I thought I had the wrong game on...
PI on Lehan, then Wright scores from the 1.
Pretty strange uniforms.
Really, my dear... and that after I said, "...your Texicans! They will nail Jacksonville's hide to the wall to go 4 and 1! That will put them only 1 game behind the 5-0 Colts--"
It is enough... to make one tear up--
That is until the first beer is opened... Then Party DOWN!
BTW the rest my picks on RJ's Famous NFL Picks - Week Six are:
...the Deadskins will go to Green Bay and come back with their dead heads and dead hinnies in their hands.
The Iggles try the Jets and who knows which Iggles will show up, the 56 point scorers or the guys who could only make one field goal against the Manning Lite Giants? I think this week, McNabb will luck out and beat New Yorks other team.
Atlanta will sneak up on the NYGs and leave Manning Lite flat.
Now this week Cleveland Brownies are back on the downalater against the Miami Fins and will give Jerry Jones another one in the loss column looking toward next Aprils early high draft pick.
Now, my Boys are playing the Pats. This game will come down to which team makes the fewest mistakes and Dallas got plenty out of their system last week. Bradys Bunch has played pretty much error-less football and are due a slip up.
So, I see the Cowboys pulling off a squeaker win of less than a touchdown. However, I would not be surprised, but would be disappointed, if the Pats pull it out with a less than 3 point win.
All that said, I am going out on a long, long limb and predict Dallas 36-31 in a down to the last second barn-burner!
BTW #2 Pack 7 - Deadskins Zip!!!!!
Gadzooks, that takes me back... in the 1950s and 1960s my Mom always shopped at the Weingarten's Grocery Store on Westheimer! Is Weingarten's still in business in Houston?
And in the mid-1970s I spend a boatload of cash and drank... an ocean of tequila at Ciao's on Westheimer!
Is Maroney ever coming back?
Gadzooks, recalling that... almost makes me want to go back to my ex-wife.
Well... almost!
BTW Pack - 7 Deadskins - 7... The DC Bums got lucky!
Rams-Ravens should be on CBS since its an interconference game, IMHO. Now I have to watch my Skins on NFL.com
Gonzalez breaks Sharpe’s record for TD catches by a TE(63.)
KC up over Cincy 10-7.
A round of beers on me... But get your own broads!
