Gadzooks, that takes me back... in the 1950s and 1960s my Mom always shopped at the Weingarten's Grocery Store on Westheimer! Is Weingarten's still in business in Houston?

And in the mid-1970s I spend a boatload of cash and drank... an ocean of tequila at Ciao's on Westheimer!

In 1971 I had a 3 bedroom with den studio apartment on McCue Road just off Westheimer north of the brand spanking new Galleria. I paid $155 a month rent with all utility bills paid and they picked up your garbage at the back door each and every morning.

Gadzooks, recalling that... almost makes me want to go back to my ex-wife.
