I really couldn’t comprehend all that I read, but if I understood correctly, Bonnie Stern said ‘they had a friend at the California bar’, who could help them. It is probably Michelle Logan Stern, a sister-in-law, who is an Assistant District Attorney. Shouldn’t she be put on administrative leave until Jerry Brown has completed his case and until there is nothing on the CA. docket pertaining to ANS and HKS? It’s time that HKS and his ilk are forced to be honest about their participation in the ANS saga.

it was smart of McCabe to leave the door open for addl depo time - i think we can be sure Virgie is very interested in any agreements her daughter may have made as to timing of those agreements

i still think it’s very fishy that only a few months after Nygard broke off intimate relations with Vicki, she’s sitting in a lawyer’s office with lawyers Nygard knew nothing about when he had been associated with Vicki both intimately and professionally for two years prior

also interesting that howie baby claims intimacy with Vicki, from the time the nygard romance ended, thru the time she was with Mark Hatten.

one would think, if she was intimate with howie from 2000 2002, she wouldn’t have spent the six months after Mark was run off ‘on the couch depressed for six months’

I THINK...Putting an asset into a corporation in this case is a way of separating it from your other assets, keeping it from being subject to liens against any estate.

well, there's the rub - against any estate - but who would be thinking of 'estates' in 2005? I don't think Anna was...

IIRC, Individually, one is allowed to retain their primary residence even in bankruptcy (along with clothes, car, etc), so there is some degree of protection for the house.

On the other hand, assets of a corporation are subject to liens for state/federal/civil-suit collections against the corp and, therefore, are definitely subject to forfeiture. In Calif, counties assess certain annual taxes based on total assets of the corp - less assets would mean a lower county tax bill.

unless Anna was actively anticipating being sued individually circa 2005,(which we've seen no evidence of) putting the house into the corp, instead of creating a revocable trust and placing it in that instead, seems like a very poor and misinformed 'business decision' imo jmo

Monday is the Inquest. Howard and KE are in hiding and Larry is trapped in a house with his charge.

I don't think Larry IN HIS WILDEST DREAMS expected to actually wind up with Dannielynn. He certainly didn't have any inkling that Anna was to die.

He just wanted a cut and expected to be "paid off". Big difference between paternity and custody.

Sadly, Howard and KE had this tremendous hold on poor, naive Anna.

Sadder, too...is that Virgie has had 3 people taken from her that she held dear.

I'm hoping that the detective who talked with Danny shows up...with a tape.

The 6% had to be while Khevorian was still active because Howard mentions him as originally being part of the that particular agreement according to his testimony in the deposition.

I thought that Howard mentioned in Seidlin's Court that he didn't know that he was in Anna's will prior to receiving it. But that can't be correct because there is a conversation with KE about "Anna and I were just talking about changing it". IIRC, it was a taped message and only Howard and KE were discussing it.

Most wills contain succession clauses...If this happens then it goes to...

I think that's PART of what Dannielynn's birth certificate was about...and Howard expected to retain that right and expected the Bahama Court to support that right.

When that wasn't going to happen, Howard HAD to make a deal with Larry.

I don't think Howard wanted Dannielynn either and if things had gone his way with the court supporting him as the father, he MIGHT have given Dannielynn to Virgie (just as Anna had given Danny to Virgie) with a deal attached, of course.

But once Howard made the "I Hate Mommy" tape, that idea was in the trash.

Howard went into the bedroom. He went to the closet first and put his hand up on the shelf...and said all the important papers were gone including Dannielynn's birth certificate.

Then, there must have been a cut...because I believe the next clip was the one of him sitting on the bed holding the album open.

I don't know about anyone else, but I never got a birth certificate (or even a copy) for any of my children. They were filed in the records office and not by me.

I recall her hubby lobbying for his brother HKS. IMO, there is a conflict of interest and I would feel much better if MLS would be relocated to where she has no access.

I agree she would appear to have a ‘conflict of interest’! Her position as Assistant Attorney General could, as the politicians say, cause there to be “the appearance of impropriety”. I do not trust any of the Sterns’ associated with HKS, and I agree with you tht she should not have access to material relating to him or ANS...or anyone involved in this case.

Thanks Liz...Just trying to anticipate when the 6% deal was and how he could claim it if he wasn’t acting as an attorney on her behalf in the bankruptcy case. Isn’t that what he is saying? Or is my brain melting??

I’m *tap, tap, tapping* while waiting just to see which HKS “law firm” has these imaginary files with the imaginary agreement in them.

Gee, it must be Rale’s “law firm,” since he claims to have won the $88 million reduction of the $475 million “judgment” on ANS’s behalf, “largest ever awarded,” ho ho ho.

Well, except that Boesch’s name was on that, no Rale anywhere to be seen. Oh, it must have been one of those “silent farmout” agreements that only lawyers are allowed to know about, written in onion juice invisible ink and only readable with a special decoder ring.

Oh, wait, Rale didn’t have his own “law firm” when that happened; he was working for Trope & Trope, 2nd time around. So, it must be in T&T’s files, ya think?

No, wait - it must be in Rale’s imaginary files *at home,* where his wife can fax them to the court on HKS’s behalf. Ya think? Surely he has finished the font-matching by now! Can’t wait to see this!

I don’t know what they did with them - one day the forum was there and another day, *poof* it was gone. They all moved to the old haunted house in It’s a Wonderful Life (really), but they don’t allow anyone in except members now.

So glad I have another day’s reprieve on the inquest, as life just keeps interfering with my finishing the newest Case Name List revision! Aaggh.
