I love Transformers! Cheesy, but fun!
I’m heading down to the couch with my binkey to watch TV. The spouse has been dispatched to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription, and I plan to go NOWHERE today.

LOL!
That’s funny! I always wanted to respond in Spanish, when I was spoken to in German. Talk about confused!
Then I met a guy who had about as much of the two languages as I had, so we developed our own “language” of English, Spanish and German in our conversations. Folks could follow it up to a point... ;o]

LOL. Years ago we had a friend who was tri-lingual (simultaneous translator) in French, English and Spanish. LoM is also fluent in all three. I came home from work one day and knew almost immediately who LoM was on the phone with... but I heard something odd and started listening to hear what it was. Then I figured it out and cracked up -- while LoM was glaring at me because she didn't know what so funny.
It was this: they were hopping from one language to another every few sentences. But LoM's accent lagged the hop by about a sentence: for example, when she went from French to English I heard a sentence in English with an unbelievably heavy French accent!

LOL!
I had a German friend whose brother had come over for a visit while we were neighbors. She got so involved in translating that she would speak German to us and English to her brother.
I’d look at her and say, “Ilona: Nicht Deutsch!”

Uh oh.
Standing in defense posture in the field next to the road, and the spies walk on past.

I always stick a spy in my stack so they can see the other spies coming along.

Then the field gets trompled as the spies get pummeled.
Ouch.

The life of a spy is short and brutal.
I have sent many to their deaths. But they always had at least a 60% chance of fulfilling their mission, raising me up to new heights of glory.

Don’t have any of the Civ series, but I have Age of Mythology.
I usually play first person shooters and flight sims like IL2-1946.
