Hugh smile and bugged out eyes as well. He was impressed.Not as impressed as we are for the people like him who keep doing a dangerous job to protect us from our enemies, foreign. As far as enemies, domestic, that's up to us. It's just another way to support him in his job.

I just found out that the son of a fellow parishoner will be going to Iraq next week. He joined the MA National Guard in the summer between his Junior and Senior years of high school, so he's been in almost 8 years. He was in my #2 son's grade in high school, but they never had any classes together, so I kinda lost track of him. He'd actually spent some time in New Orleans after Katrina.
If you have a spare knife, I'll get his mailing address and send it along to you.

Hey... speaking of knife pron... I just picked up one of these a few days ago:

It's a CRKT "Voodoo". Now discontinued. It's got the spring-assist open like the one you discussed above, which, I have decided, I ~really~ like. Not technically a switchblade, but every bit as good. :-)
