I just bought last week, but I bought calls.

I’ve been long on AAPL for 6 or 7 years now. High five to ya!
To: GRRRRR
In the last 4 months, I’ve contributed (at home):
* iMac 24”
* MacBook Pro 17”
And at work, I recommended the transition to OS X for programming. So far the tally:
* 1 MacBook Pro 17”
* 1 Mac Mini
* 5 Mac Pros
And two coworkers have transitioned to Macs (1 Mac Pro 3Ghz, and 1 MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz).
So that’s 12 I can claim responsibility for :)
And the Pros are not cheap (but a great value)!
Our next wave of machines will probably be bought when Leopard comes out.

Apple's finished. They've been at death's door since MicroSoft bailed them out years ago. Steve Jobs is going to prison for backdating corporate documents. The only reason viruses haven't hit yet is because thera were only a few thousand Macs in use until recently. Mac OS security is terrible and getting worse, and Macs lock up and can't be restarted. Last but not least, Mac fanboys are all gay Democrat hairdressers who hire illegal alien doctors to perform late term abortions with implements made in China and tainted with dangerous chemicals.

You left out “Greenpeace has proved that Apple is completely responsible for all high tech landfill and 78% of last year’s global warming... as well as the upcoming ice age!”

So how is that 24” iMac? I’ve had a 20” for a couple of years and have really enjoyed it. The next will be the 24”.

That's almost word-for-word what you'll find on pro-Microsoft sites. ;)
I'm looking forward to the new, redesigned metallic iMacs, due to be announced very soon.

Metallic finish, or actual metal?

Metallic finish, or actual metal? Actual metal - they're going to look just like the MacBook Pros. The white plastic is going away. I think they will be slightly thicker front-to-back (to accomodate bigger hard drives and video cards) - but without as much material around the edge of the monitor, so they will be closer to the dimensions of the screen size. 20" and 24" models only - leading to speculation that the plastic 17" iMac will evolve into the new, low cost desktop Mac for the educational market.

But I did get back in at $90 About the same place I did.
I think I'll use some of the money that I'm making on Apple stock to buy another iMac. :)

Pretty good — the wife and the kids use that machine.
No problems with it whatsoever and it’s more than fast enough to deal with anything they can throw at it.
The family loves the screen! I’m spoiled with my 30” Cinema Display these days, but it’s huge in comparison to most :)
