My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Right, the way to lose weight is burn the calories one takes in.
How are you this evening, have a quiet day?
I’m baking again, boneless chicken breasts, covered with mild salsa, Romano Cheese, and Provolone cheese. Yummy.

Thanks. It’s based on real people.

The day went rather smoothly considering that the site is in an increased awareness mode. It sounds like you are feeling better by cooking all of the tasty sounding food. Were those chicken breasts cooked in a white wine sauce?

Glad all went well on the job.
No, I don’t cook anything in wine. Can’t stand the taste.

That's why I concentrate on the Diet of Worms.
The Diet of Worms (Reichstag zu Worms) was a general assembly (a Diet) of the estates of the Holy Roman Empire that took place in Worms, a small town on the Rhine river located in what is now Germany. It was conducted from January 28 to May 25, 1521, with Emperor Charles V presiding. Although other issues were dealt with at the Diet of Worms, it is most memorable for addressing Martin Luther and the effects of the Protestant Reformation.

Wow! That's nasty Lady Jag!
Hi everyone, just checking in from Bangkok. Everything's rather normal, in keeping with the many times I've been to Bangkok. It's weird, many of the shop keepers recognize me and I recognize them! Maybe I'll open a shop here one day.
I have the digital camera going at an amazing rate. Oh, and it's totally sunny this time, very lovely. Every walk I take I pick up 100 photos! And then I dump them on my giant (little) memory card, and scoop up another 100. I'll sort through it all, and compose them into stories, when I'm back in Taiwan with may own lap top.
In the meantime here are a couple little shots:
1.) Coffee by starbase: Here's a cup of coffee to contemplate:
2.) I hit the mother lode of Chinese paintings. Ironically, my original flight was canceled due to mechanical problems, so they gave us a connecting flight through the older terminal, and when I walked out to the departure gates, I found about 15 of these lovely paintings, so I photographed them all. They will make a nice "art" walk in and of themselves. There were also other crafts at the Taipei airport, nothing really amazing, but still, pleasant viewing nonetheless. So I snapped those as well, probably got 40 new pictures even before I left Taipei!
3.) And here are some lovely tulips from the States.(slightly out of focus, but I'm trying to work the last of my first pictures in somewhere or other!)
That last one was from the US, before I left. Wow, there are so many pictures piling up, and I still have 3 days here in Thailand, and haven't taken any at all in Taiwan yet. Off The Beaten Path should have loads and loads of "tours" to take, I might have to lower the price!

Hi starbase!
Nice to see you, nice art picture. The coffee shot is fun.
Glad there is sun this time around.
Take care now and thanks again.

Good morning everyone.

If it's drama that you sigh for,
plant a garden and you'll get it
You will know the thrill of battle
fighting foes that will beset it
If you long for entertainment and
for pageantry most glowing,
Plant a garden and this summer spend
your time with green things growing.

Good morning!?!? I thought I just read your post that said good night!
Time sure flows oddly around here where it's almost always summer and you talk to loads of people on the other side of the world!

LOL, yup it is strange, this side of the world is waking up and you’re early evening.
It is a fun thing to do, chatting with the other side of the world.

Yes it is fun to have "operatives" on both sides of the world. Kind of makes it feel like we run the place!
Speaking of fun, did you really like the coffee picture above? It was fun to snap it, it's kind of 1930's grifter chic.
I might try to have it made into a poster! I'd kind of like to have it on my bedroom wall.

Yes, I do like the coffee picture, so American and all that. It has a feeling of walking into a coffee shop, I think it would be nice as a poster.
I traveled through Finland a few years ago, there in Summer, the sun does not set until after midnight. I took a picture of a suspension bride at 10:30 PM, it is clear as a bell. Midnight it is not completely dark, just a weird murky Grey.

I once took a train ride around Scandinavia in the winter and I saw the "lingering" sunset. It was weird, it just never went down, no matter what time your watch said!
Well, I'm going to run to one of the cafes now and watch Spiderman 3. Yes they do a lot of piracy here in Thailand, and so you can see any new movie the same week it's out on lots of TVs in restaurants and cafes around here. (of course the Thais don't ever produce the hottest or best selling movies, could that be related to total disrespect of other Thai's copyrights?, Hmmmmmm..maybe!)
Cheers, see you later!
