My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Yup, thanks I did. Much cooler here this morning, gray, cloudy skies, high humidity, ugh.
Well, it is what it is for today, so may as well fly with the unicorn!
To: Soaring Feather
I read all of the Unicorn poems. They are simply great.

How about the Unicorn Song, always been a fav of mine. I used to play it a lot.
Kathy, loves that song, too.
To: Soaring Feather
Used to listen to it a lot. Thought that it was a catchy song. Once you got it in your head it would stay there almost all day.

Many songs do that, strange isn’t it, must be something the tune touches us in a very basic area of our brain, something familiar and comfortable to us that will not leave us for a while.

Excellent!! Gorgeous!!
Glad to hear you rested yesterday, I did as well.
I hope it dries up outside so I can be out a little bit today.
Have a grand day Meg, and thanks for the beauty you bring into the Lair.

Hi all, Well I have to make another trip to Bangkok, which I will do this weekend, since this company dropped the ball in a number of ways regarding my visa information. It's kind of funny these Asian attitudes about "face", which really simply boils down to never admitting they were wrong, which is so ridiculous, and looks so childish. It's amazing the damage it does to society and to businesses, this nonsense about not admitting what they failed on.
That, of course, makes it so that they don't learn from their mistakes, or learn so slowly that the damage goes on and on. In this case, since I've done this all before, I told them at every turn how they were messing it up, before, during, and after the return from my fruitless last trip to Bangkok. I told them politely, and even while I was watching them screw it up I just had to drop polite hints and listen to them assure me of things I knew they were wrong about.
So after it's all said and done, yes, I was right about every step (because, I repeat, I've done this before), but we're all standing around pretending this is just a necessary second trip!
Well, there are much worse things than a forced vacation to Bangkok. This time all the papers are in order so I think I will spend much more time running around taking pictures (since I'll be in a much better mood, hard to feel excited and vivacious when you know nothing is arranged right for a business trip!)
Anyway, a month or so after returning I'll get a laptop and try my hand at a travel site. Who knows, maybe I'll retire back to the US in 6 months on the earnings of Off The Beaten Path! At any rate, it will be fun setting it up!

Hello, Roving Photog!
Well, off for another adventure, sure hope this one works out for you! It must be frustrating for you at times, however, since you are aware of the "routine," you are prepared.
You have a good attitude and grand sense of adventure, makes life easier and fun. Your "Off the Beaten Path Tours." is such fun, I am sure you are going to have a grand time setting it up. And to think the concept was born in The Lair, among a good group of friends. How good is that?? Smiles.
Your "Face" is always welcome here, no Visa required. ;)

Sweet Dreams And Happy Memories |

Sweet dreams and happy memories, A love that's good and true; A home to care for tenderly; A song to sing that's new Sweet dreams and happy memories And friends to join in mirth Some tears to give to those who die, And smiles to greet each birth. Sweet dreams and happy memories, To win a game or two. The faith to know that Spring will come, The strength to wait it through. Sweet dreams and happy memories, To do what there's to do For joy is living day to day, To make sweet dreams come true.

Hello Lady!
Great graphic and sweet poem, thanks.
Are you in a chill down?? We are here and it will remain all weekend. As the poem you posted says,
The faith to know that Spring will come,
The strength to wait it through.
that is what is in order!
