My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

All I keep hearing is “Look at the pretty colors” emanating from their tent.

Oh sleep
thy moment of stasis
of stillness
of renewal in the world
friend and restorer
chief architect
of my dreams
guide and guiding
I welcome thee

One of those poems from another time and place.
Stone Pile on a Hill
The black wind blows over tumbled stone
and sings in a voice of shrieks and moans
Fallen walls and a tower stark all thats left
and any touch of humanity now sadly bereft
Only the wind now speaks of things long past
as time slips by for nothing remains or lasts
Long past sins for which none may now atone
and the sentinel tower remains to watch alone
Long grass entwined in fallen stone about
all that tells of battles fought and a final rout
Lives spent and gone, to feed greed on fates last
and they learned that destiny can end so fast
Even the innocent felt Fates cruel clout
for mercy was lost, and none had any doubt
The history, if written, you could not heft
now lost forever, for Time has no scribe so deft

Oh my, dear Meg, these Bleeding Heart are just gorgeous, thank you.
How’s your back doing these days, better I hope!! ;)
I have had really pronounced swelling in my feet and legs, it hurts. It’s the warm weather to blame. I have to elevate my legs and feet to get any relief. Better this morning. :)
Thanks again for the beautiful flowers for the Lair, we do appreciate the beauty you give us.
To: Kathy in Alaska

Doing well so far thanks. My alarm clock is the sun! LOL
It is not going to be as warm here today, but comfortable enough for me.
I have been making some changes on your page, tell me what you think so far? I may make more.
Well, NYA, enjoy the morning Java, I think we need some Manhattan Transfer, Java Jive, but it’s stored on the other hard drive and I am too lazy to get it now. ;)
To: Soaring Feather
Thank you, Soaring Feather..
Bed rest is BORING! I am better so I overdid and must use more discipline on my computer time, sitting time.
Hope you continue to get relief..Aren’t we a pair!

Indeed, we are! Sitting is really bad for back and leg problems. Glad to hear you’re finding relief.
*HUGS* for a pain free day for both of us. ;)
