AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2229) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | April 30, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 04/30/2007 4:34:12 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

Impeachment.

That's the threat that Murtha, now Chairman of the Defense Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee, says the House must use if the President doesn't accept their will for surrender in Iraq.

Of course, this is not surprising. Many of us expected the cries for such a move to occur sometime during the last two years of this Administration. The other party would love nothing more than to erase that blot on their history--the only elected President ever to have been impeached.

So, we need to get this straight.

Apprarantly, in Mr. Murtha's mind, it is all right to engage in oral sex in the Oval Office, be pleasured while discussing ongoing military operations with the United States Senate, commit perjury, solicit the American people en masse to be accomplices in the crime, mislead the Congress about a criminal act, engage the armed forces of the United States to deflect public scrutiny, threaten Members of Congress with exposure of their backgrounds unless they keep silent, allegedly rape women, all the while professing to do the work of the American people.

Apparently, however, it is not all right to be engaged in an enterprise to ensure the Third World War does not spill over into our own territory. In other words, Representative Murtha believes President Bush should be...

...Impeached for undertaking his Constitutional duty to protect the Consitution (which is "We the people") from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Yet a new standard on the hypocracy meter. This one's going to be hard to beat.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I DO NOT HAVE LEUKEMIA!!!

Tears of joy, my friend ...tears of joy.

Psalm 30:5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

I am so happy to hear the news, Jemian, that you do not have leukemia.

But do they know what did cause your white blood cell count to go up? An infection? Do they know where?

Hi Neets. how are you doing?

Did you have good weather over the weekend. It was really nice here.

I didn’t get to answer you over the weekend, Molly, but yes, I did get some work done outside. Planted a pot of flowers that can be moved to cover if we get frost yet. The perenniels are just shooting up with the warm weather we are having.

Many more annuals yet to plant but will wait a bit.

Those radishes I planted 6 days ago are starting to come up.

Thank you for your well wishes. The answer is no, we don’t know what caused it to go up. We suspect I have an infection caused by sinusitus because:

the antibiotic I was on especially targeted that type of infection,
I have had, and still have, mild sinus congestion. Nothing that even causes a discharge but I get a stuffy nose whenever I become horizontal, and
(an infection) because the count came down after taking an antibiotic.

I now have a sulfa drug and hopefully that will clear the sinusitus. I take that for two weeks and then we’ll see.

Happy May Day

Taken from Son's old religion book -

In the Roman Catholic tradition, May is observed as Mary's month, and May Day is usually a celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In this connection, Mary's head (in works of art, school skits, etc.) will often be adorned with flowers.

And from Wikepedia - Another May Day tradition (fading in popularity since the late 20th century) is the giving of May baskets, small baskets of candy and/or flowers, usually left anonymously on neighbors' doorsteps.

Hoping y'all are doing fine.

I also ment to say: What a lovely May Basket. I remember making may baskets as a child. Many times they were made of Dixie Cups. Or wall paper wrapped into a cone shape.

Also from TS:

Global warming" seems to be joining "diversity," "gun control," "open space" and a growing list of other subjects where rational discussion has become impossible -- and where you are considered a bad person even for wanting to discuss it rationally.

Maybe we should do nothing until they allow debate - in effect pout.

Oh, that is delicious!

Have to run an early a.m. errand with husband...get his car to the shop to be serviced, then get him to work with a large container of coffee we're picking up...back in awhile...
