Hey, everyone.... I have a few prayer requests. I just was told my mom has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. They have put her on medication to try to get the fluid off her heart. They also found her thyroid is not functioning correctly and the numbers are way out of whack.
PLEASE also pray for my daughter and my grandson. My daughter has just returned from the Dr. They gave her a steroid shot today and she will receive another one tomorrow to help the baby's lungs develop as they are not ready yet. She is 28 weeks along. He is currently 2 lbs 9 ounces. They have put her on bedrest... she cannot be up for more than 15 minutes, when she is up. This means that she has to take a leave from her job. She is worried about losing her house and paying her bills. She was also informed that she may not have a job when this is all over!
I have been unemployed since January, and going through a mess, as well. Some of you are aware of all of it. Circumstances have put the girls and I living with my older daughter, so we have been helping already with things around the house. God knew she would need us and placed us here ahead of time.
I am working on a project temporarily for Abstinence Clearing House, which will help some in the financial department. Please pray that my mess comes together so that I can help her.
As you can see...there are many issues here.
You prayers are coveted!! (Now I will have a 21 yr old saying, "I'm BORED" along side the 12 yr old that says it frequently!! What's a mother to do! I think I am going to the house in Viborg to get ALL thoe BOARD/bored games!!)
I know in my heart God's hand is in everything and He cares for us. At the moment, it is hard to not feel quite overwhelmed!!

Trussell, you have always been there for every FReeper needing prayers and support ... I know we are all here for you now. Prayers for you, your daughters, your mother and grandchild. It is difficult sometimes to see ‘the plan’ but you are blessed to know it is there.
Update...
I just got a call from the anonymous freeper. The daughter has been taken to the hospital with possible symptoms of preeclampsia. She is asking for emergency prayer!

May she be healed.

My first child was born at 35 weeks at 4lbs. 11 ozs. (she went down to 4lbs. 6 oz. 2 days after she was born when they let us take her home. She was skinny, but healthy. Just needed a little help warming up the first day. She gained a lot of weight during the first 2 weeks of her life, and caught up very quickly. She is now 15 1/2 and strong & healthy. [It is possible for the baby to be small, but healthy!]
I pray God will bless this mother with a strong and healthy child.
With my fourth, and the last child I had I was diagnosed with symptoms of Pre-Ecclampsia (Protein in Urine & Swelling of the ankles). I was in the hospital within 2 hours (I went home and got my things), and then they induced delivery (which was very fast — about 2 hours only). My baby was born healthy and I got sick the following day with High Blood Pressure which they were able to treat very quickly with — can’t remember which IV med, but I was fine after they got that under control. I had to take blood pressure meds for the first 3 months following delivery as a precaution and then I stopped taking it. I have been fine ever since with no problems related to it.
I pray the Lord will protect this mother from harm.
I pray again for this mother and ask God to grant this family the same protection he blessed me with when my babies were struggling. God, please wrap you arms around this mother and her child, and please send your angels to comfort the family and friends around her that are worried right now, and to give wisdom to the medical staff treating her and her child.
