I think Virgie is exactly right. I think LB has been smooth talked by HKS and is listening to him instead of to Virgie, the baby's grandmother. It's a shame. Until Larry gets the baby AWAY from Stern he is dependent on Stern's "good will" and probably doesn't want to rock that boat. And he probably has NO stomach for staying for the inquest and/or pursuing any investigation into Danny's or Anna's deaths.
That task will be left to Virgie and her attorneys to do, sadly. If she has the strength and determination to continue to seek justice for her child and grandchild, I will up my admiration of her. The Stern inspired media barrage against her seems to be to have stacked the deck of the jurors against her point of view. That leaves only the Bahamian authorities and I don't have much confidence in them.
Too bad, if that happens.

Well, until Virgie gets her fingers out of this, Larry has to kiss HKS’s butt! How dare that woman demand control of Larry’s child’s money!!! I was a huge Virgie supporter until yesterday. Everyone can say all they want that HKS is twisting what he wants people to believe, but that MSNBC says that she admits that she wants control of the money. This is not just demanding to see her granddaughter! She wants partial custody. BALONEY!! If my ex-husband’s mother demanded partial custody of my children because her son died I would tell her to jump in a lake, just like LB should (and is) do.
Virgie is mad because larry won't give her control over 1/2 of the babies money -- which right now the only certain money that child has is $1.7 million Larry had OK Magazine deposit into a trustfund in Dannielynn's name.
I will make you a bet: when all the cards are on the table we are going to find out Virgie's lawyers in Bahamas and Texas are counting on her getting 50% control in order to pay their expenses. If I am wrong, I'll eat crow, but the only reason Dannielynn and Larry are in Nassau is Virgie. Virgie, herself admitted it to MSNBC.
