Thanks for that report. I still like Virgie. I know she doesn't want the money - she wants to be with that baby and she wants that baby to be with her when she can be....and she does NOT want that baby anywhere near Stern - and she is right. Larry is NUTS if he is going to allow Howie to be hear Dannielynn once he is back in the States.

Has Larry left the Bahamas today with the baby and HOPE HOPE without Stern? Anybody heard?

Larry Birkhead appears to have no concerns that Howard K. Stern might have had a hand in the death of Anna Nicole (his daughter's mother) and Daniel and has no problems dissing Virgie Arthur. What a guy.

Nobody in this sad story, however, can beat Howard Stern as a villain. Looking over the posts, he conjures up many different images for people: a goat; lizard; parasite; tape worm; double murderer; repulsive; ogre; the devil; sociopath; freeloader; drug pusher; brainwasher; paranoid schizophrenic; oozing evil; geek; wimp; ugly; hook nose (for Jamie of Court TV); control freak; freak; mumble brain (or was that Perper); Judge Milstein's squeeze; sadistic.

I am sure I have missed many more. These I just redalled off the top of my head.

Everyone agrees (or nearly everyone) agrees he is NOT: lovable; a babe magnet; handsome; honorable; heroic; Danielynn's father; Anna Nicole's boyfriend; college football player; macho man.

'LAW & ORDER' ANNA NICOLE 'KNOCK-OFF' NEXT WEEK

She's gone, but not even close to forgotten - and is now fictionalized in an episode of the ripped-straight-from-the-headlines series "Law & Order: Criminal Intent."

Plumped-up "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Kristy Swanson is playing an Anna Nicole Smith-like blonde bombshell in a segment of the NBC series airing NEXT WEEK.

The episode has Swanson starring as Lorelei Mailer, a chubby sexpot star whose adult son is killed tragically while taping his own reality show.

Shortly afterward, Lorelei herself is snuffed out, just as she stands to inherit millions from her dead oil-tycoon husband.

As detectives Logan and Wheeler, played by Chris Noth and Julianne Nicholson, investigate whether Lorelei was whacked, they encounter numerous suspects, including a photographer/manager/lover played by comedian David Cross.

The character seems to be based on the two men in Anna Nicole's life - her lover, photographer Larry Birkhead, who was eventually proven to be her baby's daddy, and Howard K. Stern, her lawyer and purported hubby who also claimed to be the child's father.

have been waiting for a chance to yell hip hip hooray - re: Dannielynn getting OUT of the clutches of Stern. But if he is on the plane with Larry B - I will only moan and groan.

Doesn't LB see what is going on????? For crying out loud.

And then we have the issue of the Inquest - the REAL issue as far as Stern is concerned. He wants that inquest to NEVER happen. And it may never happen. The Bahamians probably don't like the thought of a nasty thing like that going on - especially if Sterntoad gets implicated.....but the main thing is all the witnesses are going to have to find ways to get back to the Bahamas for it and many will just forget it or won't be able to make it.

Oh well - like some have said - there may be no justice in this life.....but there is a Judge we must all face one of these days....

Virgie Arthur Isn’t Giving Up

Virgie Arthur, the mother of Anna Nicole Smith, is not backing down. In an exclusive interview with INSIDE EDITION, she spoke for the first time about her long and hard fight to have a role in raising baby Dannielynn.

“Dannielynn needs both families for her to grow up and understand what has happened in her life,” Virgie said.

And there’s something she wants Dannielynn’s father, Larry Birkhead to know. “I’m just grandma,” she said. “I’m not trying to take anything away from you. You’re her dad.”

Early on in the battle to determine who was Dannielynn’s father, Virgie and Birkhead displayed a unified front. But now, Virgie says she and Birkhead are estranged and even worse, from her point of view, is that one-time rivals Howard K. Stern and Birkhead have formed an alliance. Virgie even said she thinks that Stern is trying to block her out of Dannielynn’s life.

While Birkhead has become a public and media darling, Virgie has been portrayed as the evil, money-grubbing mom, and was even booed at Anna Nicole’s funeral.

Asked about the public perception of her as the “bad guy,” Virgie said, “People only see what’s shown to them,” adding, “I don’t have to have the public. I would like to have the public but I don’t have to have them to do what is right.”

Responding to accusations that her real motive in pursuing the court case is to one day take a piece of Dannielynn’s inheritance, Virgie said, “I don’t have any money and I don’t want any money. Money makes people evil.”

Virgie was finally able to hold her granddaughter two weeks ago in her lawyer’s office. Birkhead was there as was Howard K. Stern.

Virgie said she kissed Dannielynn “all over her mouth.” “Then I gave her neck sugars and she started laughing,” Virgie said.

Virgie says she holds no ill will toward Birkhead. In fact, she says she hopes her family and his can come together for the good of little Dannielynn.

“He’ll still be a part of my family whether he likes it or not,” she said with a chuckle.

Three months after her death, Anna Nicole Smith is about to speak from the grave.

On its way to publishers this week is a pitch, based on hours of never-printed interviews, in which the doomed object of desire talks about everything from her alleged childhood sex abuse to bedroom memories of billionaire husband J. Howard Marshall.

"A lot of people are trying to tell her story," says writer Joyce Wagner. "This is Anna talking about who she was."

Flash back to June 1996. The troubled sex bomb had just gotten out of rehab at the Betty Ford Center. She'd put on weight. Her former nanny's $830,000 sexual harassment suit had forced Smith into bankruptcy.

Thinking she might score a book deal, Smith, then 28, began talking with Wagner, a veteran entertainment journalist. The two grew so close that Wagner became Smith's manager.

"She was very vulnerable," Wagner tells us. "I may have been the only person listening to her then. And it may have been one of the only times when she was totally sober."

The tapes could have a bearing on current events. Wagner played us one conversation in which Smith described running away from her mother, Virgie Arthur, who is now seeking custody of Smith's baby, Danielynn.

It was in the seventh grade. When she returned home, "[my mom] came straight upstairs. Without even asking, 'Why did you run away?,' she started beating the s- out of me. She started kicking me with her boot."

Smith even alleged that Arthur, a deputy sheriff, "hit me with a nightstick." (Arthur's attorney, Debra Rose, didn't return our call for comment by deadline.)

Smith also said someone had sexually abused her. "I don't want to talk about that now," says Wagner. "But this book will explain a lot."

Rutland, Vermont - April 30, 2007

The Vermont-made movie starring Anna Nicole Smith hits stores Tuesday, May 1st.

Illegal Aliens is the spoof that was filmed in and around Rutland in 2005. Its release was delayed twice: once for the death of Anna Nicole’s son, and again following the star’s death. Both of them were investors in the movie.

The comedy is going direct-to-DVD, and will be for sale and rent starting this week.

Mary Beth French, the producer of Illegal Aliens, says, “We understand (Smith’s partner) Howard K. Stern and other people in her life are excited about the film and they like it. And she liked the film. So they are going to be happy to see Anna do something she was proud of.”

Edgewood Studios says this is has been, by far, the company’s biggest movie project ever. Edgewood’s owner, and the movie’s director, David Giancola, is down in New York City for dozens of interviews on cable networks and entertainment shows. Most of them are focusing on the life and death of Anna Nicole Smith.

Where is Dannielynn Hope and why is she not back in the United States? The baby of the late Anna Nicole Smith and Larry Birkhead is still in the Bahamas even tough Larry wanted to bring the baby home this weekend. He has said that he is very excited to bring the baby home - likely to Kentucky - and until now has been hampered by court orders and judges in the Bahamas. Now the photographer is set to get his baby home, thanks to a court ruling last week.

Entertainment media news site Access Hollywood has the scoop: A report on the Access Hollywood website reports that they have learned exclusively that Larry Birkhead has finally obtained Dannielynn's passport and will leave the Bahamas for the U.S. tomorrow.

Access is also promising on Wednesday that they will have exclusive video of the father & daughter homecoming. An earlier report from the New York Post claimed that Birkhead and little Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead will fly home on an NBC plane. "They'll be on board a Bravo-funded plane along with Howard K. Stern and the network is planning some kind of big interview," an insider says.

The paper reported over the weekend that Larry has a secret $1 million deal with Larry Birkhead, the biological father of her 7-month-old baby.
