Thread Number 3
Sorry....They didn’t get to FLORIDA (not the Bahamas) until Monday night.
Not sure what the OP was looking for, really. Mostly wondering what ongoing infectious medical problem it might be that ANS had, that required almost a standing prescription for the antibiotic Cipro.
There was also a question of whether HKS had something he needed it for - but it wasn’t one of the ones in HKS’s name.
Wonder if a Gibson owns that server??
I think Brits everywhere get Easter Monday off.
Words of Bon Bon
CBS) Bonnie Stern doesn’t like what people are saying about her brother, Anna Nicole Smith’s companion Howard K. Stern.
“The reason I am doing this interview is because there are so many misconceptions about my brother,” she said in an interview that aired Thursday on “Dr. Phil.”
“One of the misconceptions is that Howard profited from Anna’s death. There’s no life insurance policy. Since her death, Howard has not received any money,” she said.
“When he left her, she was sleeping,” Bonnie Stern said.
“They had plans to get a yacht and to buy an engagement ring. They were going to get married Feb. 27. It was going to be a real marriage,” she said.
“He started doing her legal work and then he became her confidant. They became best friends and then he fell in love with her,” she said.
“Larry Birkhead was not her boyfriend. There were times of some intimacy.”
“He was catatonic,” she admits. “I’ve never seen my brother like that, ever.”
“It’s so devastating to see such a good person put through the slaughter mill when people don’t even know him,” she says.
“She was the one who was the puppetmaster pulling the strings,” she says. “My brother did what she wanted. He loved her, but he did not control her.”
“He’s working on contingency,” Bonnie explains. “If this case gets resolved and they get some money from it, he will get a percentage of it.”
“We were very good friends,” she says. “I got to see the private side of Anna Nicole.”
“Her immunity was so low. She was so depressed. She kept getting sick and her body just probably broke down.”
“He started doing her legal work and then he became her confidant. They became best friends and then he fell in love with her,” she said.
Smith’s partner, Howard K. Stern, wasn’t with her when she died, but he had been there that morning, and he knew she was very sick, his sister, Bonnie Stern, said. Smith had been running a fever of 105 degrees, and a nurse was “icing her down” earlier that day, she said.
“Anna Nicole controlled what Anna Nicole did,” she said. “He did not feed her pills. He did not get her medication. Anna Nicole got her own medication, and she did what she wanted to do.”
As for Smith’s death, Bonnie Stern said her brother was “completely devastated.”
“He was freezing, sweating, under the covers, crying, just completely devastated. His whole world was gone, is the way he put it. ‘My whole world is gone.’ “
As for why Stern won’t just take a paternity test to determine once and for all who the baby’s father is, his sister said on Larry King Live that he simply doesn’t want to give in to Birkhead.
“He says, ‘I’m not doing it for Larry Birkhead. If I have to, I’ll do it, but I’m not doing it for him.’
Bonnie Stern says her brother brought Smith to holidays at their parents’ house. Did that first visit, on Thanksgiving 1998, create a culture clash?
Oh no, Bonnie says. Smith was dressed formally and seemed “pretty shy.” Later, they took pictures.
“I was asking her to show me how she poses sexy,” Bonnie says. “So she was posing, and I was snapping pictures.”
Moments after Anna Nicole Smiths body was laid to rest, Bonnie Stern, Howards sister, jumped to her brothers defense and confronted Virgie Arthur, I looked her in the eye and said to her You make me sick.
I think Bonnie summed it up by saying The best case scenario moving forward would be that Howard and Larry Birkhead come to a mutual resolve and that Virgie Arthur goes back to Texas, where she belongs.
Bonnie Stern said she was concerned about her brother immediately following Smith’s death Feb. 8.
“Dannielynn was the one thing that brought him back to life,” she said. “If it wasn’t for (Dannielynn), I don’t know if my brother would be here today.”
Regarding Virgie Arthur, Smith’s estranged mother, Bonnie Stern said, she should return to Texas “where she belongs.”
Bonnie Stern, the sister of Howard K. Stern, who is listed as the father of Smiths baby on her birth certificate, called von Anhalts assertions nauseating.
She didnt even know him, Bonnie Stern said.
B STERN: Because she just didn’t want to. She just didn’t want to give Larry what he wanted.
B STERN: She died on Thursday. He was completely devastated. He was freezing, sweating, under the covers, crying, just completely devastated. His whole world was gone, is the way he put it.
“My whole world is gone.”
And I said, “No, your whole world is not gone. Your baby is left. And that’s all of Anna that’s left. And your memories. And that’s what you have to do, you have to fight for your baby.”
B STERN: Oh my god, it would be devastating. (In response to L King asking: It would be terrible, Bonnie, if it were shown he weren’t the father, wouldn’t it?)
B STERN: Well, he’s not strapped in there, but coming back here is more problems than staying there
B STERN: No. I mean basically the first thing is he has to — house is the executor of the will and the will was written in 2001. It was not written by him. So basically he has to, you know, the body has to be released. He has to transport the body back to the Bahamas, which is where she wanted to be buried, next to Daniel.
He has to plan a funeral. He has to deal with the theft. He has to deal with getting their belongings back from the theft. He’s got to deal with the inquest.
B STERN: In the Bahamas.
All of their personal videotapes and tapes that they made; all of their personal photographs, stills; picture — all the pictures that Anna painted for Dannielynn and for Daniel and everything, all gone. And some of her expensive art work.
B STERN: That was the soft side of her. That was the sweet side of her. That was the side of her that was broken from her past, you know? She was a homebody. She was quiet. She was a recluse. She loved to watch movies. She was a sun goddess. She loved to paint.

It was 2/5/07 on the Tamiflu and 2/6/07 on the Cipro. She died 2/8/07.
I think it’s just a reprint from early on...To Keep the Story Alive until tomorrow when it can fend for itself.
Oh my goodness! What a terrible way to spend Easter weekend. How are you feeling now?
Whatever is decided is fine with me. We just need to be on the same page to make it effective.

Awesome and I love your “Words of Bon Bon” as a keyword! It’s not her exact name, so a search won’t bring up EVERYTHING associated with her, but it identifies her specifically in a recognizeable way to us all.
