I don’t think you understand this case. Just because Larry has been named as the father paternity wise, doesn’t mean he has custody. Larry can’t just walk up and take the baby, nor can he go move in with Grandma. Until that court grants him custody of Dannielynn, he is at the mercy of HKS to see her.

I’m thinking that your description is exactly what KE delivered to Perper - who swallowed it whole.
Question: Instead of taking ANS to the hotel - why didn’t they dump her off at the nearest hospital? What were they (HK$ and KE) thinking - if they only wanted ANS detoxed? The baby was safe at Horizons. An effort to detox ANS would have been the ethical thing to do, plus safer and more intelligent - IN A HOSPITAL!!!

1) They were afraid of Anna’s wrath.
2) They had more sinister plans.
3) They were arrogant, hateful and stupid.

Your question presupposes that HKS or KE were thinking very far down the road. I don’t know that there’s evidence to support this conclusion. HKS would have probably thought that if he could “kick it” in a certain time frame, so could ANS, with some other sedative support. I think KE was in ‘way over her head medicine wise. There’s no evidence she had addiction experience or training. They were waltzing with a monster. ANS also must have had her own immediate pain reduction agenda.
Who knows whether they really had a much of a plan at all or whether KE or HKS really had any idea about what they were trying to deal with? Remember the ice baths? I see it more likely that they were learning “on the job,” with their one and only patient.
I googled “handsome men.” I was curious to see if any had bangs. That video came up and I was ROTFLMAO.

I think KE might known she had a mess on her hands, and LOL did evoke Perper’s compassion on that one, but as you point out, she didn’t do the correct medical or ethical things - most of which you accurately list. I agree completely, KE didn’t and HKS didn’t try to fix the mess in any ethical way.
As for your final 3 conclusions about why they didn’t do the “right things,”. . . well, your 3 cover most of what I can think of.
No, no - I don’t think Barth is doing that. I think it’s something that got put on the docket during the burial stuff, for some reason, but I don’t know why it hasn’t been dismissed.
All I can see in public views is “miscellaenous probate” and Vickie Lynn Marshall as the deceased.

Meant to add that I fully expect Ross or Rale (or heaven forfend, HKS) to file the real one somewhere in CA ... later rather than sooner, lol.
Over several days they described her alternately as ‘very sick’ or ‘in great shape’ - either way she died slowly and painfully from medical incompetence and drug pushing.
IMHO, based on KE’s medical license and HK$ administering drugs (prescribed for him), to ANS - over an extended period, at a minimum, her demise screams “WRONGFUL DEATH”.
I agree with you both. No one knows for sure what happened in the hearing except that HKS is POed. Not LB. But everyone is on the Virgie is the evil one bandwagon now. I would do the exact same thing she is/may be doing to get justice for my daughter and grandson. She has to be careful and not let anything get “away”. No calling it back for a do over. Better to cover your bases in the beginning and as far as her lawyers saying what they have about what she wants, ALL lawyers ask for the moon to start knowing that they have some leverage for what they are actually after. I’m sure that her lawyers are looking at the Marshal moolah but I believe Virgie is only looking for justice. She wasn’t up there trying to schmooze ANS or write a book, FGS.

Nothing’s too thick for a determined addict. They might need a rather large bore needle, like the ones used to inject other thick stuff, like depot suspensions and long acting penicillin. I just can’t get past the fact that it wasn’t sterile and wasn’t intended for injection and that would have been majorly off-putting to any medically trained person, even if they were manipulating the rest of their ethics for ulterior purposes. Injecting oral solutions is something street addicts do.

During Anna’s lucid moments - did she discuss with him wanting to reconcile with Virgie - especially when she was pregnant and when Daniel died. During those type of emotional events don’t we all “want my mother”??????? That is so natural and normal. (My 22-yr old husband wanted his mother when he was stung by a bee!!!!!!)
Did HK$ find a reconciliation threatening? - Was he afraid Virgie would be able to see Anna’s situation and try to rescue her?
IMHO -He has kept the “estranged” Virgie’s alienation crepe front and center - so as not to give her power over any financial/assets investigation.
