One thing that came to my mind reading your post - regarding the commitment ceremony and when on the stand, HKS said he got bad attorney advice. I think the bad advice was to go ahead and do the ceremony. What better way to get an inheritance and access to the daughter's inheritance than to be a husband. THEN later on he remembered the "will" that said no future husbands. That's why he said he was the executor (or however he put it) when ANS died instead of husband. I also don't think HE intended for ANS to die. KE, yes, but not HKS. I think ANS was either an experiment gone wrong with KE or she wanted her out of the picture completely to have access to HKS.

“”””HKS said he got bad attorney advice””””

I’m pretty sure he was talking to himself.

Anna could barely hold a conversation.
KE was too busy mixing potions.
Bobby Trendy was too busy making blousies.
The 2 husbands were ?????
The help...like maids and nannies...were invisible.

If Howard hadn't left that morning for the dock and if KE hadn't left for California the night before but called TWICE before she died and was the first person that Howard called, I'd say everyone was properly concerned.

In other words, neither of them should have left her in any substandard condition....with two "duh" babysitters.

She was DEAD when Howard left. He was absolutely certain but he needed someone else to find her that way.

Between 9:30 and 12:00, he didn't check her?? He did...when he sent Taz and Mo to the airport which is apparently vey close by.
