Thread Number 3
No problem. If HKS were a relative of mine, I’d do my best to set him straight where needed and tell the whole truth:) We, the public, probably don’t have any particular right to know the whole truth, but the people intimately involved do and so do the courts.
Thanks, AC. What I’ve appreciated most about FR has been the respectful debate and willingness to listen to others. Even though there’ve been plenty of other threads that get heated and a bit nasty at time, overall this has always been one of the best and most balanced, and certainly most intelligent, websites I’ve ever come across.
Part of me has been puzzled at the outrage sometimes expressed against folks who may not see HKS as a murderer, sociopath, creep, etc. And you see this phenomenon on all the other websites, too. Probably most who haven’t hung Howard out to dry are good and decent people who would never want to live the way Anna and her friends did, nor approve of that lifestyle. I’m pretty sure most of these same people will be glad if it’s determined crimes have been committed and those responsible are punished. Of course, there have been some heated feelings regarding other parties in the ANS case, too. Perhaps one day this could serve as a chapter in a social psychology book, as well as a study in mass media :) Now I’m going to smoke my last cigarette(for good, I hope) and go to bed when I should be waking up!
I’m sorry, but given what we know about HKS, I just cannot understand how ya’ll can see him in any other light. Are you saying that you do not see any psycopathic behaviors or that it’s not possible, in spite of everything, that he may have planned or been complicit in the deaths of Anna and Daniel? I believe he is, on all counts, and am outraged at him (perhaps for personal reasons), so I don’t understand feeling otherwise. I’d really like to understand where you’re coming from....right now though, I get the impression that you have issues (perhaps on some personal level) with Virgie and need to find ways to place blame on her, giving HKS sort of a ‘pass’? it might be helpful to the rest of us,well, at least to me, if you could explain further.
I'm still trying to figure out what Howard meant when he said the "commitment ceremony" was bad legal advice. I also wonder why they even called it that. All they had to do was file a license. We don't know if they were in international waters at the time or if Anna and Howard ever signed one onboard. Moe would likely know.
I found an exception in law that a license could be filed AFTER the ceremony.
Remember, KE said she finally talked Anna into "marrying" Howard.
But the outstanding thing remains is another friggin' video showing "the family"..Howard, Anna and Dannie Lynn. Tell me all these videos were not part of a plan.
“”””he could have moved to Texas to be with his grandmother””
Daniel was a 20-yr old man.
Question: Do you know any 20-yr old men, with Hollywood aspirations, who would go to Texas to live with their police-officer grammas?
And despite what you see, those diaries could have been written at any time before she died.
You can bet your booties that any corps or contracts were written “survivor takes all”.
KE either has to ackowledge that she was feeding Anna the stuff or corroborate what Howard said.....and she can't do that. She ordered the stuff. Maybe she'll say that HE was taking the stuff. Who knows. It's a trail of lies.
He told a big fat lie. The court stenographer has no real way to show how it was punctuated. Viewing the video is more than helpful.
Remember, he thought it "wasn't nice to talk about someone after they died". But he was more than willing to add "I've seen her a lot worse than that".
I think he blurted that out totally by accident. he had lost his concentration. Watch his hands. He holds them in a praying position when he is concentrating.
KE was talking about the alleged upcoming Feb 23 nuptials when she made that statement that so took me aback the first time I laid eyes on her, on the ET plane trip.
That, and the fact that she insisted on having them put “MD and PhD” after her name on the ID graphic. No doctor of any kind, in their right mind, would want to bring attention to their profession in relation to the frootloops attached to ANS.
The whole televised portion of the conversation/interview was astounding, to me, in its bizarreness.
OK, I now have the “rest of the Cracker story” to tell. I have been going on forward through my notes to do my name list update and found a file I had totally forgotten about when I wrote my last Cracker story.
This was *supposed* to be the ending, but I just forgot about it, with all the other haphazard fact-finding that ensued in the following days.
I was going to post it yesterday and tried to, but there just never was an appropos time - everyone was speculating about Larry’s mysterious custody victory.
The set-up for this Cracker story one is the same as before, but with a big “full-circle” finish to it.
To review my original theory, tied to the Marshall estate and Koch Industries origins and shareholdings:

Errr, I don't know if I like the sound of that. He should just disappear under the radar. He will be the target of kooks and grifters until he shakes the filth of Hollywood off his shoes.
Continuing about The Cracker name ...
Around Christmastime in 2005, Koch Industries bought paper giant Georgia-Pacific for $21 billion.
Remember, the majority of the Marshall estate is Koch Industries stock, privately and closely held, salable only to other private shareholders, mostly certain Koch family members.
Of course ANS’s legal team follows the public activities of Koch Industries, probably very closely. Here is what Chairman Charles Koch, son of founder Fred Koch, had to say in November 2005, when the deal was about to finalize with Georgia-Pacific:

11-15-05
(CHARLES KOCH)
Thank you and good morning, and good afternoon, or evening, wherever you are. And, thank you, Pete, for those very generous remarks and even more, I want to thank Pete and-and the Georgia-Pacific team for the extremely professional way theyve handled this transaction. Because of all the acquisitions weve made over the last 40 years, this transaction has been handled by the Georgia-Pacific team in the most professional and the best way weve ever experienced. And that gives us a really good feeling and I hand it to you all for that. (AUDIENCE APPLAUSE)
Finally, and last but not least, I-I want to thank Adalee for that great, delicious, Georgia Cracker Pie last night. (AUDIENCE APPLAUSE) And I am not kidding. That was the best pie Ive ever eaten and I kept waking up last night wishing Id eaten the whole thing. (AUDIENCE APPLAUSE) I want a repeat on that, Pete.

Some background on Georgia and Florida Crackers from wikipedia and other sources:
~~~~
.”Cracker”, sometimes “white cracker”, is a usually pejorative term for a white person, mainly used in the Southern United States, but in recent decades it has entered common usage throughout the English speaking world.
.The term “cracker” was and is used most frequently in the Southern U.S., especially in Georgia and Florida. Since the 1870s, a nickname for Georgia is “The Cracker State”.
Usage of the term “cracker” generally differs from “hick” and “hillbilly” because crackers reject or resist assimilation into the dominant culture, while hicks and hillbillies theoretically are isolated from the dominant culture. In this way, cracker culture is similar to redneck culture.
.”Cracker” has also been used as a proud or jocular self-description. With the huge influx of new residents from the North, “cracker” is now used informally by some white residents of Florida and Georgia (”Florida cracker” or “Georgia cracker”) to indicate that their family has lived there for many generations. However, the term “white cracker” is not always used self-referentially and remains a racist term to many in the region.
.According to the 1911 edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica, “cracker” is a term of contempt for the “poor” or “mean whites,” particularly of Georgia and Florida. Britannica notes that the term dates back to the American Revolution, and is derived from the “cracked corn” which formed their staple food. (Note that in British English “mean” is a term for poverty, not malice.) [3]
Historically the word suggested poor, white rural Americans with little formal education. Historians point out the term originally referred to the strong Scots-Irish of the backcountry (as opposed to the English of the seacoast). Thus a sociologist reported in 1926: “As the plantations expanded these freed men (formerly bond servants) were pushed further and further back upon the more and more sterile soil. They became ‘pinelanders’, ‘corn-crackers’, or ‘crackers’.”
So, of course, I made “us” ANS thread people a Georgia Cracker Pie yesterday. It is yummy!
Georgia Cracker Pie
3 Egg whites
1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1 c Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
16 Soda crackers rolled into very fine crumbs
1 c Chopped pecans
Beat egg whites until stiff; add baking powder. Add sugar slowly then add the vanilla. Mix this with the cracker crumbs and pecans and pour into a 9 inch greased pie pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Let cool and top with sweetened whip cream or cool whip.
Georgia Cracker Pie
3/4 to 1 cup saltine cracker crumbs (or about 14 squares)
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 large egg whites
1/2 pint whipping cream
2 tbs sugar
Blend the cracker crumbs, sugar, baking powder, and chopped nuts.
Stir in the flavoring. Beat the egg whites til stiff and fold into the crumb mixture, blending well. Turn into a well-buttered 8 or 9 inch pie pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool on a rack and chill for several hours.
Whip cream, adding 2 tablespoons sugar. Spread evenly over pie and return to refrigerator.
Now, what’s funny about all this is that I had never had a Georgia Cracker Pie, nor had I made one. And guess what! It’s my old favorite ... “Mystery Pie”! Too funny, as this is all a big mystery!
I totally agree. Those drips and dribbles, invested wisely, would be a fortune to me.
Imo, there is a principle at stake here. It’s not so much the amount of money, but who stole it. There is always the “final accounting”, but I’d sure love to see one here on earth.
And there’s one more little “dollop” ... concerning Florida crackers ...
~~~~
Quáqueros
Spaniards in Florida called them Quáqueros, a corruption of the English word Quaker, which the Spanish used to contemptuously refer to any Protestant.
~~~~
J Howard was Quaker.
LOL! Tacky, isn't it? These people probably do more "laundry" than all of us put together. A lot of it was spent, but the goatherd knows how to muddy the waters. Imo, there is still money belonging to Anna's estate(now DL's), and the only problem is unraveling the trail. Yeah, I think there is a good deal of money out there, somewhere.
I have a friend who is a liberal Democrat and uses the name "Ga. Cracker" as his nickname. I can't wait to tell him that he's a "mean white"! :)
Morning!
On Don Hogan: He was convicted and went to jail for sex battery on Virgie’s sister and another underage girl. Virgie got a restraining order and he was NOT ALLOWED to see his children. Virgie completely cut him out of her and the children’s life.
According to Donna Hogan her father (Don Hogan) was extremely abusive to she and her entire family and Virgie was right about him.
ANS as an adult hired a PI and found her dad and established a relationship. It infuriated Virgie.
