Thread Number 3
“That is my take as well.. until there is an agreement between LB and VA the baby stays status quo.. the sooner LB and VA come to an agreement, the sooner the baby leave the Bahamas. Stern is and will remain involved until that happens, ergo, if VA is concerned the baby is in danger with HKS she would come to an agreement with LB... I am left to believe she is not all that concerned with the babies physical safety.”
This is not being cynical or rhetorical, I’m thinking I might have missed some legal fine points.
Isn’t it possible for LB to tell HKS that he is unwilling to negotiate the VA stuff one way or another? Is LB powerless to say anything with regard to things he is unwilling to negotiate or stipulate to in this matter? Is HKS holding all the cards here?
“Wonder how long she can keep on keepin on? Financially, emotionally and physically?”
I’ll bet O’Quinn is paying for everything. I think I read she’s staying with the Bahamian lawyer or her family. Virgie’s retired. She doesn’t need to go back to work, but Larry does. And it would be nice if he could take the baby with him. I wish she and O’Quinn would just give it up and let Larry get Dannielynn out of there.
I didn’t see it on FOX. Someone else just posted that, but we’ve known since day one, and especially last week that Virgie wants custody/guardianship and not visitation. This certainly wouldn’t be delayed like this if it was as simple as visitation.
I do not think Larry should give her custody/guardianship. He is the father and should appoint who he wants if something happens to him. I would think he would want Dannielynn to grow up with a young adult with children such as his sister or brother.
I remember having to appoint a guardian in my will for my little children if I died. I appointed my sister;my husband appointed his mother and father. I used to hope that if we were in an accident together, I would at least live a few minutes longer than he! LOL!
Until a judge rules LB would be crazy not to make nice with the man who has physical custody of the child.... I’d be doing the very same thing. Doesn’t mean he likes the guy.
I cannot believe that Virgie is enjoying this impasse. She may be retired and in the Bahamas, but she’s not on vacation and she has not been allowed to see her grandchild, so what is so important that she refuses to “surrender”.
I have to believe that she is not going to abandon her obligation to rid Dannielyn’s life of Howard K. Stern, nor the right to sue him for the wrongful deaths of Anna and Daniel. She must believe that Larry will not fight HK$ to that end.
Looks to me like Larry is putting his daughter first and just wants to move forward and get started with their life together. I can’t say I blame him, let the Inquest in the Bahamas get underway and let them take care of HKS.
“””I admit, Im totally puzzled by everything right now.”””
Agree Liz - this is a good time for me to take a break.
BBL
Well the fat lady has not sung yet Jrabbit and it definitely will not be a shocker if and when other surprises pop up.
It should have been over like when the DNA results were revealed.
It should not have even happened imho Mr. attempted kidnapper, liar HKS!
Why? Why does Larry Birkhead have to fight everybody and their mama for his own child?
He was explicit in Seidlin's Court: "According to Bahama Law, I am the father".
Some people use the law to further their own interests. Howard is one of those....and is a repeat offender. In other words, he's a "CRACKER".
Breaking news on Fox... Virgie not budging, wants partial custody and guardianship...
I knew it wasnt just visitation....OQuinn would not settle for that!
LB seems happy enough today, I doubt he would be if Virgie was asking for more than visitation and if visitation is all she’s looking for, who would be holding things up?
