I don’t know how LB could insert himself into Horizons 24/7 with HKS there.
This from the article is promising:
“In related news, Birkhead, who has seen his daughter twice since Tuesday’s DNA test results revealing, told Potts the transfer of custody from Smith’s long time companion Howard K. Stern to him, may happen before the month long transition that has been reported.”
I’m sure LB has to tread carefully since HKS still retains custody.

Awareness of that is probably the primary motivation for everything LB does and says. That’s what I use as the scale for LB’s words and deeds anyway.
A public agreement with Virgie might also drive HKS into a custody battle. I view HKS as a ‘trip wire’. He can make so many things go wrong for the good guys.
Like with the inquest on DS’s death, HKS has employed his time management skills in further DELAY.
If anything, the press (ET) has put out more info that appears to HELP Howard than anything else we've seen....in particular the videos that say Anna was estranged from both Virgie and Danny, the video of KE explaining her tender, loving care of her patient, the videos of Howard feeding the baby...
It's just that people aren't stupid today and if you lied about the baby, THE METHADONE, and your lack of knowledge about meds, we think you just might lie about everything else.
And then there's the FACT that there's only TWO people who had access to both Anna and Daniel within the hours before they died...Howard and KE.

How about..... She shows up for her dancing gig at the party. Drunk and unkempt.
Some of the guys say...hey, we aren’t getting our money’s worth with this (dancer, lady, ...).
And send her on her way. Maybe such a scenario would be enough to touch her off, and we know the rest of the story.
Anyway, that is what my intuition indicates (male intuition—which we aren’t supposed to be good at).
I don’t see the team players as choirboys, but surely not the rapists as falsely accused. The woman has a history of substance use and relationship problems.
3 parties are meeting, they are expected to have a plan tomorrow before the court. Transitional plan mentioned, 2 weeks......
Virgie still has only seen DL but the one time.

Daniel Smith Inquest Moved to End of May

The Daniel Smith inquest proceedings are expected to resume on May 22.
After a brief meeting Thursday, the inquest into the death of ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s son DANIEL will reconvene on May 22 in the Bahamas.
Currently, HOWARD K. STERN is appealing the jury selection in the inquest, asking that his attorneys be allowed to submit a special questionnaire for the screening process. They have argued that it would be impossible to secure an impartial jury due to the publicity surrounding Anna Nicole and Daniel’s deaths — rendering the entire proceeding unconstitutional.
Forty witnesses are on the list for the inquest, which is expected to include testimony from a hospital nurse who may claim that she noticed two white tablets on the bed where Daniel died — one that turned out to be methadone.
ET has obtained the full witness list for the inquest, and Anna Nicole (as Vickie Lynn Marshall) is listed; a statement will be presented in the late model’s absence. The list also confirms that Anna’s partner, Howard, has been summoned, as well as the biological father of Anna’s baby DANNIELYNN, LARRY BIRKHEAD.
“I’m just here to do what’s right, to help Daniel,” he told ET. “I’m here to give the truth.”
Also included on the complete witness list are Anna’s former friends, G. BEN THOMPSON and FORD SHELLEY, and her reported former physician, DR. SANDEEP KAPOOR. The police photographer has been called to testify, as were various employees from Doctors Hospital, which is where Daniel died. Each witness is entitled to bring their own attorney.
The 20-year-old Daniel died from a lethal combination of Lexapro, Zoloft and methadone while visiting his mom and newborn sister in the Bahamas last September.

I so agree, as my son is in Afghanistan, he has it also.
He told them the SITUATION?!?! Could that mean there is something going on with the baby? I hope Larry is rite and i hope the judge says there is no need for a transition period.

Let’s hope the California Medical Board examiners investigating KE and SK notice this too. Failure to rule out hypothyroidism in a depressed patient would seem to be either incompetence or “practicing beyond the scope of one’s expertise.” Not that this is what caused ANS’s death, but paints a picture of incompetence surrounding her death on the parts of various physicians, particularly those who were most familiar with her.
This and another comment on the babies weight convinces me the nurses were not lying... now ANS is gone they are feeding the baby properly.
I should introduce myself. I have read all for weeks and finally signed up about a week or so ago.
Actually, I think that ANS was offered 8 mil in re to Marshall and Vergie said take it, but HKS said no.
I don’t think they were lying, either.
Frankly, DL is going to have a better shot at life with Birkhead than if she had remained with ANS. I think he realized that and it is why he was seeking paternity tests right after DL’s birth.
