I don’t think Anna’s statement to the police should carry much weight, given her drug use, her problems with memory, and Howard’s brainwashing of her. I wouldn’t call it reliable. I, too, hope that the jurors catch that. I guess that’s why Howard’s trying to backpedal now- show himself the caring, honest, nice, victimised guy he truly is /sarc.

ET has been with Dannielynn from the very beginning, from showing actual footage of the moment she was pulled from the womb in an awe-inspiring display of the reproductive miracle to the tender first moments in Anna’s arms; the first photos of Anna sharing Dannielynn with her 20-year-old son, DANIEL; and providing a bittersweet will to live after Daniel’s untimely death.

And how much did you pay for the priviledge of these “precious” moments? How about the way you trashed Virgie and Larry. ET you let Anna and Howie go on camera and say that Larry was a stalker and hanger on. You’re producers saw Anna drugged up and incoherent. You even slipped and showed the footage after she died. She couldn’t even turn the page of a frickin’ book and Howie had to do it for her. You knew she was a druggie and was hiding her baby out but you willingly gave her a platform to trash her mother, to trash Larry, and to trash anyone who wanted to help her. After Larry gets Dannielynn I hope he sends you a cease and desist letter and you will never be able to garner ratings from her again. Remember Larry has already tangled with you ..and he WON!!

Birkhead Sister: Anna Nicole Smith’s Mom Will Be In Dannielynn’s Life

Anna Nicole Smith Update - Anna Nicole Smith’s former lover Larry Birkhead will allow Smith’s estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, access to her granddaughter Dannielynn, because he has a strong belief in family.
Photographer Birkhead was confirmed as the seven-month-old baby’s father yesterday, after a lengthy paternity battle with Smith’s longtime companion, Howard K. Stern, who is listed on Dannielynn’s birth certificate.

And the tragic model’s mother Virgie Arthur - who “just wants to be a grandmother” - is likely to play a part in the upbringing of the young tot, Birkhead’s sister Judy told chat show host Larry King on Larry King Live last night.

Yesterday was a day of celebration for the DNA victorious Larry Birkhead. Shortly after the news of Dannielynn's paternity was announced, Birkhead did some victory laps -- in a pool with his adorable niece and nephew.

See, this is how the news screws us.

I heard on CTV yesterday that Larry was in the pool with his niece and nephew BEFORE he even showed up at the courthouse.

They just lie.

Someone (an attorney) stated last night that the amount she will inherit will likely be a split between a hundred million and the four hundred million and likely will be in the three hundred million range when it is all over and done with.

I believe Stern was in for 6%, not certain what Rales cut is supposed to be, but Dannielynn will be a wealthy woman some day.

Why this Howie is just the best person in the world and with the inquest starting tomorrow (I think), he might be looked at as a "sad case"....because he doesn't have Dannie Lynn anymore.

We're back to the "sympathy" plan.....I lost Anna....all I have is Dannie Lynn...

Now I have nothing. I don't even have Dannie Lynn. Please don't take away my freedom, too because I want to stay close to Danny and Anna.

Howard should start to "think positive"...exercise in an open court yard, three meals a day, a real job in a quarry...

Does Larry legally (in the court’s eyes) have custody of DL now?

Unfortunately no. That won’t be determined until Friday. Tomorrow we will find out if HKS is going to keep his word and if Virgie is just going to ask for some visititation on paper or full out joint custody.

Is the inquest case in court today??

I think the will is set to be thrown totally OUT. It excludes everyone except Danny. If Howard fights the will, by it's terms, it excludes him, too.

It's a worthless bunch of papers.....And I'll bet there's a previous will that specifies Virgie as Danny's guardian and while the 2001 says it is void, they may look to it for guidance.

That's why I think Howard is so against Virgie....something in the previous will.

In case noone has seen this (someone mentioned his lawsuit against Ashley Judd, and I think he was deserving. She slammed him professionally on national TV) but this also brings out the PRO-STERN stance on Entertainment Tonight. This explains EVERYTHING now.

One of those good news, bad news weeks for Ashley Judd—and her lawyers.
The actress won an undisclosed sum in British court last week after a judge there ordered the celeb magazine Now to pay Judd for fabricating a story about the actress.

But she shouldn’t plan on cashing the check just yet.

The bigger news is that Judd, 33, was on the settling end of a libel lawsuit filed against her by a freelance journalist from Louisville, Kentucky.

Larry Birkhead, 28, filed suit last year in Jefferson County Circuit Court against the actress after she allegedly dissed him on Entertainment Tonight.

During a 1999 interview, Birkhead grilled Ashley’s mom, Naomi, about her stance on the proliferation of violence and sex in Hollywood. In an article that appeared in USA Today, Birkhead quoted Naomi as saying she didn’t want Ashley to make the 1996 TV movie Norma Jean and Marilyn, about the life of Marilyn Monroe. “Pop and I wouldn’t watch it,” the Judd matriarch said.

Then Birkhead asked about Ashley’s R-rated film Double Jeopardy, in which she plays a revenge-minded woman wrongly jailed for the murder of her husband, and, according to his article, Naomi refused to comment.

Ashley subsequently appeared on Entertainment Tonight, where she said the article was a “complete fabrication and her mother gave her total enthusiastic response to the film.”

Birkhead’s attorney said Judd’s statements were libelous because she directly accused him of lying. Birkhead is seeking punitive and compensatory damages from Judd, as well as Entertainment Tonight. ET has reportedly settled with Birkhead, too.

Terms of the deal, which was inked last week, were kept under wraps.

“I was extremely happy with the settlement,” Birkhead says on the phone from Louisville. “With it all behind us, we can all just get on...her with her movies, me with my reporting.”

He also says he harbors no ill-will toward the Someone Like You actress.

“I’m still a Judd fan,” he tells Louisville’s Courier-Journal. “In fact, I just ordered some personalized checks for a new checking account I just opened. They’re really neat. They have the Judds’ pictures on them.”

Frankly, I think so. I don't think they would have let a decision go down without stipulation. Virgie, Howie and Larry likely gave testimony as to their relationship.

Obviously, Howard and his "supposed" sexual encounter with Anna didn't jive. Howard's problem was that he used "Bahama Law" in Seidlin's court as to relationship, but had to get into "time" of his sexual encounter. He said Larry's "time" was wrong. He LIED.

Virgie really had something going for her in that she raised Daniel for 6 years. That's a "hot item" on anyone's resume. I doubt there will be joint custody...visitation is something else. Larry treated her kindly. She was Anna's mother.

There's paperwork to be done. That's what will occur Friday. I do not think there is a custody battle at all. Instead of a fine, Howard will get what he deserves...NO RIGHTS.

Larry and crew are probably doing a little exploring on the side via a PI...finding more evidence to nail Howard for their deaths.

You can bet your booties that Howard doesn't like them at the Horizons...and they are restricted from where they can go in the house. I bet Howard even has a "guard" there.
