don’t shoot the messenger here, lol - we can’t overlook that Corda (sp?) tossed paternity/custody over to the Bahamas and also Seidlin made that ‘smokeybackoffice’ deal for no DNA test and tossed that issue too, to the Bahamas...so the bahamas it was - the baton was passed, by the usa, to the bahamas prior to Anna’s burial.
And, in the Bahamas today, the only thing, that was settled, was that Larry is the babydaddy. I believe that it’s Friday, that the custody hearings begin. It is these upcoming hearings, that Stern was referring to, when he gave his ‘i’m out to get Virgie and the media’ concession speech.
In the meantime, both Virgie and Stern have restraining orders preventing the removal of the child from the island - Virgie to prevent Stern from running, and Stern, to prevent the baby being,um. relocated - those also, take motions and time.
As much as we’d like it to be a 2-hr hand-off, it will be a few more weeks just in legal manuvering IMO.
so far, i’ve heard Ron Rale whining that Stern had called Birkhead twice and there was no answer at Birkhead’s hotel and Rale was contacting TMZ to put out a APB for Birkhead to call (what foundation was he trying to lay?)
then I heard that Birkhead has been calling the Horizons, and nobody is answering the phone -
I wish we had confirmation that not only Larry, But Virgie, got to see the baby this evening and Virgie finally got to actually touch and cuddle her grandbaby. And I am dying to see the videoclip of Stern with suitcase in hand on the way to the Days Inn in a taxi.

I still have personal doubts about Larry - after all, he made his first nestegg (700K)(?) by suing one of the Judd sisters., and I don't understand why he didnt' turn Stern into the nurses when Anna was rehabbing in the hospital..If he's already made a deal for a cool mil within hours of paternity being announced, then I just don't know what to think...and the talking heads have the nerve to question virgie if she got her hotel bill paid..pshawwwww lolol

Hmmmmm. Well I guess that means as far as the Daniel inquest, that LB, if asked, won’t be revealing anything he might have known re ANS/HKS/drugs.
Did you notice that too???? Greta's program was horrible...on the night of nights so far in this ongoing saga. And I totally agree, she was just "down". Has somebody at Fox had a talk with her about toning it down? Moving on to other topics? What? Was she told to not show any "joy" about Larry Birkhead's good news?

Welcome back! Yes, how wonderful to finally have it officially confirmed that Larry Birkhead is Dannielynn’s daddy.....Now, please God, keep that baby safe til this “transition” time if finally over and that baby is safe in her daddy’s arms.
Oh there are many days left in this story - much to many people's dismay. I'd like nothing better than for it to be over and all the issues worked out for truth,justice,and the best for Dammielynn clearly worked out....but alas that is not to be.
Well am off to worklurk mode again. Hopefully today we'll learn that Larry has been able to hold and hug his baby - and let others in his family do the same. Dannielynn needs to start getting to know her aunt and uncle and cousin....and, dear God, I hope she will be able to know her grandmothers soon - and that her grandmothers, esp Virgie, will be able to hold her and hug her.
And Howard says he will be working for sole custody for Larry?? That's not his call either.
Howard's daddy thing was nothing but a "legal" kidnapping. That baby was and still is a hostage.
I think Lalama is either making stuff up or someone on the Stern side is filling her up with caca . She has a way too much smart@ss attitude for me.
Stern Pissed at Some Media Outlets

Howard Stern was gracious to Larry Birkhead, but he had harsh words for some media outlets, which he claimed had acted incredibly irresponsibly toward him. Stern said he would be dealing with it.
TMZ first reported that Stern was about to hire Lin Wood, pit bull lawyer, to file suit against certain networks and reporters.
and she said she "wished" that they could go to the Bahamas
And she said she "wished" that they could have a big boat
and she "wished" that she could have a big house like the Horizons

Custody of Smith's baby to be discussed

NASSAU, Bahamas - The custody dispute over Anna Nicole Smith's baby enters its next round Friday when a judge plans to discuss who will raise the infant after DNA tests showed Larry Birkhead is her biological father.
Howard K. Stern, who has been caring for baby Dannielynn since Smith's sudden death in February, said Tuesday he wouldn't fight for custody, but a lawyer for Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, indicated she might.
Stern said he loved the baby despite the DNA results and would support Birkhead.
"I'm obviously very disappointed, but my feelings for Dannielynn have not changed," he said, adding of Birkhead: "I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure he gets sole custody."
Birkhead, who broke up with Smith before she moved to the Bahamas in July, had been seeking custody of the girl for months. Stern was listed on the birth certificate as Dannielynn's father and has been taking care of the child at the gated, oceanfront mansion he and Smith shared in the Bahamas.
"I told you so!" Birkhead said Tuesday, announcing the DNA test results upon emerging from a closed court hearing. Birkhead added: "My baby's going to be coming home pretty soon."
The court's DNA expert, Dr. Michael Baird, confirmed it.
Just seven months old, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern stands to inherit a fortune if the legal battles her mother left her ever get resolved.
The baby could potentially inherit millions from the estate of Smith's late husband, J. Howard Marshall II. The former model had been fighting the Texas oil tycoon's family over his estimated $500 million fortune since his death in 1995, and that battle remains unresolved.
It remains unclear how much, if any, of the Marshall estate Dannielynn could ever hope to obtain, and whether her guardian would have any access to the money.
Even Smith's own estate remains unresolved. A 2001 will released after her death in February said her fortune should be held in trust for her son, but he's dead now. The 19-page will named Stern as her executor, but did not say how much Smith was worth or how much her daughter might inherit.
Nassau has been transfixed by the Anna Nicole saga since she moved here last year. Smith gave birth to Dannielynn in September, only to see her 20-year-old son Daniel die days later at her bedside from a lethal combination of drugs. Smith died on Feb. 8, at the age of 39, also from a deadly mix of prescription drugs.
Smith's mother said Tuesday that she wanted to be present in her granddaughter's life, but seemed appeased by the DNA results.
"I'm happy that Dannielynn will know who her real father is," she said.
Although fatherhood will be a new role for Birkhead, he has said it is one he is prepared for.
"Most definitely. I'm capable of it. I have nieces and nephews," he told CNN's Larry King in January, adding his siblings have named him as the guardian who would care for their children if anything happened to them.
Birkhead has said he met Smith, a former Playboy Playmate of the Year, at a Kentucky Derby party in 2003 but that they didn't start dating until he saw her at the same event the following year.
She had lost weight, was much friendlier than she had been the year before and invited him to accompany her to other events to take photos "and one thing led to another," he told Fox's Greta Van Susteren in January.
"We had, you know, even though it sounds like we battled and battled, but we had a great time in our relationship," he told Van Susteren.
Birkhead has said that he and Smith remained together until May 2006 when she was five months pregnant with Dannielynn.

When I looked at the deaths side by side, it became apparent that they were the same script. There is even an "episode" where Anna goes to the bathroom...about 2 hours before each death.
Remember, that's a point where she was awake...and meds were likely given to her at this time to help her get back to sleep. All it is...is sipping from a cup.
In Danny's case, it kept her "out of it" and she didn't know what had happened.
In the case of her own death, she didn't know what was happening either.
Howard has never said exactly where he was when Anna "supposedly" said he wasn't breathing.
Can hardly wait to hear Anna's statement to the police which is supposedly part of the inquest.
I also wish they would run the clip where Howard (I believe with his arms crossed) says: "Do you think that Anna would protect me if I had anything to do with harming Danny"? I always said they ran that clip "by mistake".
